Finally found affordable, small-ish, bright light for mini fish tank!
This was terribly difficult to find. Maximum clearance inside my wife’s small tank is 8 inches. This device fits. And the suction cups actually function, to attach the light to the inside of the lid. It’s submersible, so it doesn’t matter if the level of the water touches the light. It is SUPER BRIGHT. It was a GREAT PRICE. It plugs into AC outlet, so this functions great on an “OKAY, GOOGLE” smart plug. There is no timer, there are no colors, it doesn’t dim — I don’t need any of those functions. So, for my $8, this is PERFECT! I will order more for my other tanks — why would I spend $50 for a replacement LED lid, when I can get one of these (or for the price, 2 or 3, but it’s not needed!!). Great product, Great value. Exactly what I was looking for, and I couldn’t find anything comparable at Lowe’s, Home Depot, Walmart, or other places on line.

Great product
The LED lights in my tank dimmed as they aged. I felt sorry for the fish who were now in a constant state of dusk. Very easy to install using the provided suction cups that securely hold the light to the lid for my tank. Bright, white light that enhances the appearance of the fish that now appear more vibrant. A highly recommended replacement to an existing light or a great addition to a tank without lighting.

Great quality! Super bright and easy to install!
So good! It’s very durable and is able to be used above water or fully submerged. I do like the brightness of the light. I have a 10 gallon tank, but it could easily light up a 20 or even 30 gallon tank on its own. It’s very easy to install, and the suction cups are very good quality. It’s very slim and not bulky, so it doesn’t detract from the overall look of the aquarium! Works very well!

The light is nice, it works, puts out a nice little amount of light. But this 1 light alone is NOT enough for a 20 gallon tank.

Bright but not as expected.
Unfortunately this light didn’t meet my expectations, but I gave it 5 stars because it is bright and works great! There is no remote control feature, it has an on/off switch. No timer, but you can put it on one if you want. I clipped this inside my axolotl tank easily, it seemed to work fine. It seems to be made of highly durable glass, which is great. I didn’t use it long but I think you have 2 color options, and that is blue light or white light. It’s bright though, so I wouldn’t recommend for an axolotl, I only used it once and turned it off. It comes with 2 suction cups to stick it in the tank, on the tank, on mirrors or windows, etc. Which is a bonus!

Nice and bright
I have 2 top fin 3.5 gal aquariums with crypts and annubias nana petite…the light the tank came with was very dim, I couldn’t even see fish very good, so I looked for a replacement…this is it! Very bright, I have backs painted black on tanks and I can see fish from across the room. I think the plants like the bright lights as well. I tried another by pawfly but it was not as bright as these aquanet. I did super glue the suction cups to lid and they are perfect now. I have 8 tanks and now 6 of them have aquanet lights. Very nice and awesome price! I got the white lights.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I read the reviews and thought it would be a good purchase for my tank. I do like the light, but it doesn’t shine over a broad area…it illuminates about half of my small tank. It’s very bright and the suction cups stick inside the water as well as outside of the water on all of my glass surfaces really wall. It’s a great inexpensive option!

Could have been better if there’s a longer version of it. But it’s bright for its length. The down side is the inner led is abit slanted. But overall it will work.
