Good size for the price
Easy to do and a good fit when putting it together. Some say they had to put plastic binders on to get a good fit when putting this cage together. Well, not us. It did take two people, as one person holds it together, while the other person fits the brackets together. We found that it needs a man to squeeze the fittings together with pliers, as the wire is pretty durable. Once done, there was no gaps for birds to get stuck in, as everything lined up perfectly. The drawer at the bottom does not pull out too smoothly, however, as it is big. Be sure to order bigger paper for the bottom of the cage, as paper towels will not be enough. It would take about 8 of them! It’s a nice, big cage! I think four parakeets could fit nicely in it with a lot of accessories even. Glad I got it for my two!

Great for the right purpose
Boy am I glad I bought this! I had two birds that weren’t getting along. I put one on either side and over the course of a few weeks, they became friends again. Once they were hanging out together on either side of the divider, it was a simple matter to remove the divider. And I got away with purchasing just one cage instead of two. And it was cheap.Now, let me say that I have finches. I don’t think this is suitable for anything bigger than a parakeet. This is not super sturdy. Furthermore, if you are putting parakeets in this, be prepared to tie down all openings. They will figure out how to get out. There are no latches and everything slides with ease. Another thing – while this is a cage for small birds, the dishes and perches provided are huge. Totally inappropriate. I don’t know who comes up with this stuff.Regarding assembly, this comes out of the box, with ALL pieces (except the divider and tray) attached, but folded flatish. It was a bit overwhelming and another pair of hands would have helped. The instructions are almost, but not quite, worthless. But it goes together pretty well after you look at it for a bit. The divider is very easy to put in and take out without removing birds from the cage. Really quite ingenious, actually.This is a good buy and would be a better one if it came with dishes and perches appropriate for small birds.

Good value for the price
This cage is very easy to put together. It basically unfolds and snaps together. I did it myself in 5 or 10 minutes. It is a good value for the money. It’s not super-sturdy, but considering the price I think it is of reasonable quality. There is enough space for a small bird such as a finch to fly from one end to the other. A short flight yes, but a flight. However, I recommend that you don’t use only the long horizontal perches that come with the cage. I put one of those in the lower part of the cage and then bought natural branch perches that I set as far apart as possible above them and perpendicular to them so that the bird can fly from one end of the cage to the other. I think having only the long perches defeats the purpose of a flight cage. You want to be sure the bird can fly between perches. I currently have two of these cages stacked and they are working fine.

Seems a little unsecure but once you put it together it is solid, sturdy and secure. I am going to use it for Zebra finches so the perches are to large but other than that it is a great cage. I love that I can break it up into two separate cages. Easy peasy assembly. I love this so much that I am buying another one.

“Bird Hotel not California”
Bird hotel. Vacancy to check your bird in and room for guests. 30 inches in width. Yes almost 3 feet! Comes folded and surprisingly in one piece, except for the divider. Stand the cage on either end to lock the end sections. That’s how I figured it out. Double doors that lift and stays open. Easy setup, time though. No tools needed. I left the divider out. Like knocking a wall down.Wow it’s roomy. Now…back to your bird and guests. Seed cups, wood log for perching is 30 inches. The parakeet that occupies the cage I ordered loves it so much he won’t come out! LOL Just runs back and forth on the wood log and anything else in the cage. Quite a bird hotel!

I bought this in May as I wanted everything set up well before my Budgies arrived. Assembly was OK after around 4 failed efforts. The thing is I never realised quite how big it was until fully constructed. One thing I am not keen on is the position of the feeding bowls, I feel they are too low and an instant poo trap. So said Budgies arrived, they are about 14 weeks old and very skittish. for 2 birds they managed to spread feathers etc over a very wide area,nervous about using the hoover so near the cage I have been sweeping every day, the built in tray is a big help/ Fed up with seeds between my toes I bought the cheapest pram net from here, its a perfect fit, no loss of visability, dosnt freak the birds out and has proved to be a God send. This cage is huge , so much space for perches(,,,ditch the ones supplied, they are like broom handles and no good for birds),toys, treats etc and the birds can fly from one end to the other, mine even use the grid on the bottom,but I worry about their feet but they don’t seem bothered. My cage went together really well with no gaping sides or dodgy doors, oh, theres lots of doors.Some of the perches that need a washer and nut can be a bit tricky to install but on the whole this cage is a really good buy.I am happy and once my Zoomy birds settle in properly I think they will love all this space.

Well made. Good design. Packaged appropriately for shipping. All parts were in the package. Instructions were straight forward. If I could change one thing the cage bottom would be 1/4 inch squares instead of the rectangular grid. No stars loss for that though. would recommend
