Different formulation than what I used to get from Kay-Tee, but seems to be acceptable to the pets!
Decent value for the money, although I did notice that I used to be able to get more per dollar with a different formulation (no red or blue bits … not quite sure why those are now included). The rats are happy to eat it, which is the priority!

My Syrian hamster loves this food. Not long ago, I bought a different kind to give him some variety (the kind with the alfalfa pellets and seeds in it), and he picked out a few tidbits and left the rest, so I went back to serving this, and I have a happy rodent.

Try a better option
I stopped giving this to my animals after it seemed to cause green diarrhea due to the coloring, maybe? There are better options. This isn’t great quality…

Good Stuff
Our two rats have thrived on this food. Solid health and smooth shiny coats. They consume what they need so there is little waste. The shape of the feed (small cylinders) permits them to carry a decent size portion to wherever they prefer to eat. We supplement with healthy treats but but they never seem to loose their taste for this food. Unlike other products it does not contain colorful items that are appealing to humans but have little dietary value. Easy to handle.

So i saw some people saying it more powder… when it happen, it still usable!!! Just put some water make little balls with it, air dry or put it at low temp in the oven ,you will have a pellet again . I breed mice and have pets rats both love this food and dont waste the powder if you have any . ^.^

Muy buen producto, la bolsa tiene cierre hermético para que no se humedezca el alimento, a mi mascota le mejoró mucho el pelaje cuando inició a consumirlo.

So in the photos. I saw a photo with green and blue bits. I assumed they were boosted supplements of some sort. But the bag I received only is pellets. Which is what I see in stores. But I had assumed these would have those funky green and blue bits. I was a little disappointed 🙄But. Funky bits aside. The 5 🐹 all like it. So I guess that’s all that matters.The bag should last us a while as they eat mostly a seed diet mixed with pellets. So this bag is plenty.I know a lot of people wrote reviews complaining about a bag full of crumbs/dust, mine had zero crumbs n dust. Just full whole pieces of pellets. So maybe that was just a rare occasion. I highly recommend you give it a try. Mine certainly wasn’t crumbly. 😉 and it smells nice too.
