Great fancy little tank
Awesome little tank at a great price! I got this tank for an assassin snail to help with my bladder snail invasion I have had in another tank and it’s perfect and looks so nice set up. The light is very bright, love the black backing, filter seems great and the skimmer worked great and there was even a cleaning brush included. I am not using the skimmer as it sucked some snails in but that’s no fault of the product. I put bioactive sand as the substrate that’s not supposed to be rinsed and the filter and skimmer had the water clear very quickly. Would not use for fish as it is too small but aside from that it is a perfect tank for these snails. Also very well packaged from the manufacturer.

Great starter but do your research!!
I got this as a starter tank. I had 0 knowledge about raising a fish and I wanted a Beta fish. This tank has been great to start because it’s small in size and it’s teaching me the fundamentals of caring for a tank; however, if you do your research you will learn that even a beta fish will not thrive in a 1.5 gallon tank, so I am now upgrading to a 5 gallon tank after only about a week. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it shouldn’t be advertised as a Beta tank when it is too small to provide a good environment for a Beta. However it functions great, all pieces were included, and the filter isn’t too harsh or loud.

This is by far the coolest fish tank I’ve owned my 4th one . Great for a med-small room with minimal look . The led light is high quality if you buy neon fish they will glow without extra lighting or adjustments.

3.6.25Perfect! Took me a minute to get the pump working. I do wish there was a video tutorial of the steps. I kinda had a hard time navigating and understanding (maybe an operator error 😅). BUT I got it running! I will be buying a bigger tank soon for more fish (not with my beta obviously). The LED is SUPPPPER bright too. Pump is quiet. The color is what we wanted for our house. Great for starters!UPDATE 10.4.25It started leaking from the seams, lasted about 4 months, until I had to completely stop using it. I also resealed it but it still did not help it at all. Really disappointed that I can’t use it anymore.

I received the replacement filter within a couple of days and it exceeds anything I expected. It is quiet and my fish are so much happier and active. I really appreciate the customer service provided and will definitely buy from this seller again.I want to update my previous review shown below. I was immediately contacted by the Seller responding to my review. I was very surprised by the amount of concern they showed, very sincere that a customer needed to be taken care of. After texting with them, it was decided and agreed that they will send me another filter to replace the damaged one. They offered a full refund which I did not feel was warranted since there was information in the description suggesting that we should make sure there was water in the filter to prevent damage. My power went out to circumstances beyond anyone’s control. Very cute tank. I should have listened to people about the water filter system. We had a power outage during the nighttime hours when I was asleep. When the power came back on the filter didn’t prime itself so it burnt out. Very disappointed. This is not a system to use unless you constantly keep an eye on it.

Exceptional small aquarium
Very nice product, exceeded my expectations in all respects. The filter is very quiet, the led light is very bright and so far after several months still no diodes flickering or burned out. there is a skimmer built inline with the suction that comes in very handy as it rotates to catch debris floating on the surface.Awesome product!!

Save yourself a headache
The instructions aren’t great. The filter worked fine for about a week and then started making a loud noise that wouldn’t stop even after cleaning and ensuring proper placement. Over the past two weeks, water has started to slowly leak from the bottom

Great little aquarium — but be aware that the filter eats cherry shrimp!
Very cute and relatively easy to assemble, however, this filter will suck in and chew up cherry shrimp, even on its lowest setting. Learn from my mistake and get a sponge filter and little air pump if you plan on keeping shrimp!
