Deodorizer that really works
This is the best litter deodorizer that I have found that works well with the petrichor pellet litter I use in my open top aluminum litter box. It really does help extend the use of the litter.The scent (if there is one) doesn’t bother me and I’m perfume/scent sensitive. However the product is still strong enough to help absorb odors.I think it’s a good value, a decent price for the product, a bottle does last me 4 months with one litter box and one cat. I usually apply a little bit to the litter box 2 times a week. If I’m trying to extend my litter longer than a month, I use a bit more daily.With my previous purchase it arrived fine with no leaks or other issues, so hopefully my second purchase will be the same.I recommend trying this, since it’s worked very well for me.

Wow….I’m not sure what to say.I have two bengal kittens that I love dearly. They are everything to me…but I’m also a neat freak. I’m the guy who will wash an entire load of laundry twice just in case I forgot to start the washing machine the first time….I’m the guy who has two vacuums….a light duty and a heavy duty cleaning one….and I use both every week….But most importantly I am the guy who HATES smells. I can’t stand homes that smell like animal, or old food, or just musty. It makes my skin crawl.Enter bengal kittens – they are well behaved and ALWAYS use the litter box but I would ocasionally walk by their box and catch a whiff of that “used litter” smell. Great Odor Control for Multi-Cat Homes
I recently picked up an extra litter box because my Litter-Robot alone just wasn’t enough for my two cats. One of my girls never covers her pee in a traditional box, which means the smell can get REALLY strong—especially in warm weather. This deodorizing powder has made a noticeable difference. I just spread the litter to cover the urine, sprinkle a bit of this on top, and the odor is significantly reduced until it’s time to scoop.It doesn’t completely eliminate the smell, but it definitely covers most of the strong odor and makes the litter area far more manageable.The only downside is that it’s a little pricey for the amount you get, which is why I’m giving it four stars. Still, the improvement is noticeable and appreciated, making it a solid option for anyone needing better odor control in a multi-cat household.

Have been ordering this for multiple years
This product is effective in lessening the cat box odor but doesn’t totally eliminate it. I have 3 male cats (neutered) who share 3 large litter boxes and realistically, unless I scoop multiple times a day, I don’t think any product will totally eliminate the odor. Over the years I’ve tried more products than I can remember and this is the best one I’ve found. It’s easy to use, not messy, doesn’t bother the cats, arrives quickly, and it is effective. Price-wise? There are cheaper products out there, but when I find a product that does what I want, price isn’t my main priority. I have bought both the shakers and the largebag ( more economical) and refill the shakers (more convenient). The fact that I have continued buying this product for a long time is a testament to the fact I consider it a good product.

I had high hopes for this product. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out for me. I noticed that it had quite a strong bleach-like scent smell for a product that is supposedly non-scented. It almost felt as if it was burning my nasal passages. Although, it could just be me because I do have a heightened sense of smell. I tried it in two of my litter boxes. I hadn’t noticed much of a difference in minimizing the litter box smell. Plus, the price point is a bit high for such a small volume. However, I would have kept purchasing the product if I thought it worked. It seems like it does for others based of their reviews, but for me it didn’t make enough of a significant difference for me to keep using a product that irritated my nasal passages. Maybe if I wasn’t as fastidious as cleaning the litter boxes as my cats are with cleaning themselves I might have noticed a decrease in litter box smell. Perhaps, this a good product for those don’t clean their litter boxes often.I find the best way to minimize litter box smell is to use a high quality clumping-non-scented-low dust cat litter, clean the litter box multiple times a day, basically every chance you get when you see it needs scooping, wiping down the sides of the litter box daily with a pet cleaner specially formulated to clean up urine if you have pissers like I do, mixing in a lot of baking soda (I buy it in bulk at Costco) in the litter, changing out the litter on a weekly basis, and washing the litter box on a weekly basis. It’s like us using the toilet. If we don’t flush it with each use and clean it often, no doubt it’s gonna stink no matter what additive is added to it as evidenced by those awful smelling porta-potties.
