Good size for nighttime roosting
My cockatiel, Weaver, has been enjoying these perches for about a month. I’ve gotten perches like these before but they were old and worn. They tend to last about 5 years with proper cleaning and drying. Weaver doesn’t bite or scratch his beak on them much. It’s good for birds to have a variety of shapes, sizes, and materials to perch on so they can use what is most comfortable to them and exercise their feet. This size and shape is very appreciated by my cockatiel. He likes to roost on the wider perches at night or when he’s napping. His favorite is this one in the corner at night time. He has a toe missing so making sure he has somewhere secure to perch at night is good.

Like Giant Bird Popsicles. UPDATE: half broken
Update: since these come wrapped in plastic I was unaware one of them was actually broken in several pieces until I went to change out my birds perch.These are large, popsicle shaped perches. It’s important with pet birds to give them variety, especially with perches for the health of their feet. Birds are also like toddlers and put everything in their mouths/beaks. In bird case, that’s a good thing for beak health.These are really large. Would be better suited for bigger bird species for beak grinding. It would be find for smaller birds like a cockatiel but not as their primary perch.
