I thought my cat would get bored, but she’s obsessed with thing, might get another.
UPDATE 11/16/2025: I’ve had this for over a month now. Kitty still loves it and it’s still going. But one of the plastic end caps opposite the charging side (serves no real purpose) fell off and won’t stay on anymore so I tossed it out as it’s a choking hazard and I was actually afraid my cat ate it, but later found it under the fridge. CHOKING HAZARD – (attached new photo) Whew !—- end updateI wasn’t sure if my cat would get bored of this but she really seems to like it and is often obsessed. She’s been a natural ‘fetcher’ since she was a kitten, she’s 3.5 years old now and still fetches like a pro, twist ties are her favorite.First time I used this it took off and ran around like crazy, the motor isn’t actually that noisy, it’s the crashing into things that’s noisy, but my cat didn’t mind. She mostly just watches it and sort of follows it around versus trying to catch it in motion. Regardless, she’s interested and entertained. After about 5 minutes it stops. Then she fetches it and brings it too me and waits for me to start it and throw it again.NOTES:- Runs in about 5 minute cycles then shuts off.- Motor and random activity chip seems weaker than after first use, but continue to work at medium level for over a week now, which is fine, I actually prefer that it’s less frantic. It is not motion sensor activated.- The ball is a softer rubberized surface, but it does get stuck on thicker carpet or soft material like bedding, it might just flop around.- Does tend to get stuck and wedged into or under tight spaces, have to keep track of where it goes, my kitty can often show me where it was last seen if it gets lost. Might have to buy a backup.- It is fairly durable, I throw it on hard floors and it bangs around a lot and is still going strong.- Attachment clips are a little odd, some aren’t a clip so I doubled them up. The tails can get stuck inside the roller ball.- Charges fairly quickly via USB C, comes with USB cable and a few different tail attachments.All in all this has been a pretty good toy for my cat, she’s surprisingly obsessed.

Kitten Wary But Curious
It seems to have a fast and medium speed. Kitten has not yet gotten used to it, and he is a little scared of it still. It does make some noise from the motor and from banging into things. I am hoping he gets braver the more he uses it.However, he does always enjoy watching it roll around, he follows it around the house, and he crouches like he wants to pounce. He will play with and paw at the different tails when it is still or stuck on something. When it gets stuck, it often manages to free itself by trying to go in the opposite direction.

My two cats love this toy. I put the toy in a big cardboard box, and they play for 30 minutes or so. It entertains them!My older cat waits for me to get up and jumps in the box because she knows I will turn it on for her.They love it!

Save your money
Only stays turned on for 5 minutes or so if not played with. So have to constantly turn on.
