Great Product
This product is great but it is a little tricky to get it onto the aquarium glass but once it is on it stays on and extremely tight if you use water on both the aquarium glass and the vinyl itself after peeling off the protective layer.This product has a matte backing but glossy finish and leaves zero fingerprints when handled and after installation but might show up during initial handling.I believe the easiest way to buy this is to get the measurements as closest to the aquarium size as possible in length as the width seems to always be longer than needed and the length is tough to cut straight without a straightedge.When cutting this product makes sure to use a brand new blade on a utility knife. You can cut the length with scissors when off the tank but you can use a utility knife when the vinyl is on the aquarium just don’t cut to the side where the caulking adhesive meets the glass on the shallow sides or left to right sides (cut front and back).This vinyl is super sticky when wet and can be adjusted accordingly. Some people also use one drop of dish soap to help maneuver the vinyl with easier manipulation of the product (sliding the product over the glass). I had minor issues when using only water and do not know if the dish soap would leave any streaking after application.On smaller tanks it is easy to do yourself but with larger tanks (55 gallons or more) I suggest getting one person to help you. Using a squeegee on larger tanks is very much advised and will make your life a lot simpler but also make sure to have a plastic card on hand just in case. You really do not need a squeegee for smaller tanks but it does make the job quicker.This product is of very high quality that beats any instore product I have used in the past. This is a great backing with excellent adhesion without the use of adhesives.I would highly recommend this product for aquarium use.

Easiest way to improve the look of your tank
This product worked perfectly and makes my fish tank look amazing!It was easy to install, I had no issues pushing out the bubbles with a credit card, and it sticks right to the glass. Because it’s not actually sticky it is easy to peel back off and readjust if you don’t get it right the first time.I measured the size and cut before trying to adhere it to the glass. I was impressed that I didn’t have to fight any curling from the product since it’s shipped as a tightly wound tube.I highly recommend for the price, ease of use, and quality.

Almost excellent. Separating the protective film was annoying but I finally got it. Just work it from a corner. Install was easy, just liberally spray the tank with water and dawn mix and use an old credit card to maneuver the bubbles out. Tank looks nice with my black sand and black background. Recommend.

Perfect Aquarium Background.
Arrived in a nice pack, was able to install it on my Aquarium with no problems. It sticked just like it should using water to spray on the glass. Color is perfect and size is perfect! It does seems to be very durable. Easy to installed. It was worth the money!

Works amazing, tiny pea size of dish liquid, filled with water in a sprayer, went on with ease! No bubbles, super nice!

Look for something else. It goes on easy enough with water and clings on BUT once that water dries the edges and corners start to peel up until the whole thing just eventually comes off. I would recommend spending a few dollars more for something that isn’t so cheaply made. I wonder who all these bits are giving this product a perfect 5 star and no complaints.

Easy, Clean, and Makes My Tank Pop
The XCNO Aquarium Background Static Cling Black Film is simple to use and looks great. It sticks firmly without adhesives, so installation was quick and no sticky residue was left behind when adjusted. The deep black finish really makes the fish and plants stand out, and it hides cords and equipment behind the tank.It’s also easy to trim to fit perfectly, and I haven’t had any peeling or bubbling since putting it on.
