Perfect Walking Treats for My Dog
I initially bought Crazy Dog Mini Train-Me! Training Treats in beef flavor for training purposes, but my dog quickly decided they make the perfect snack during our long walks. We now call them his “walking treats.”Flavor and Appeal: These treats are a hit with my dog due to their enticing beef flavor. He loves them, making them an ideal reward to keep him motivated and happy during our outings.Convenience: With 500 treats per bag, they are perfectly sized for quick snacks while on the go. Their small size makes them easy to carry and dispense, ensuring I always have enough for our walks.Versatility: Although my dog prefers them as snacks rather than training rewards, their tasty flavor and convenient size make them versatile for different situations, whether for positive reinforcement or just a treat.Overall Experience: Crazy Dog Mini Train-Me! Training Treats have become a staple for our walks, keeping my dog satisfied and energized. They’re a great choice for any dog owner looking to enhance their pet’s walking routine.

Perfect size training treats
Apparently, very tasty, these training treats are the perfect size for practicing good behaviors and reinforcing positive experiences. Just the right size to carry a little handful while working with your dog or to keep in your treat bag.

Treats that Our Chihuahua Loves
We currently have two rescues, one of which is a chihuahua that is now five years old. We use the Crazy Dog Train-Me treats to reward him. We had been purchasing these treats at a store that specializes in pet products, but we moved to Amazon about twelve months ago. Interestingly, the treats purchased on Amazon appear to be fresher, compared to the local store, and our chi seems to prefer the treats purchased from Amazon. The Crazy Dog Train-Me treat ingredients appear to be better than a number of alternative treats since the packaging states that there is no soy or corn contained in the treats. Our chi loves the beef flavor in particular, but he is also fond of the bacon and chicken flavors. One very important factor is that our chi has some allergy issues and he has tolerated the treats very well. To date he has experienced no allergic reactions with these treats. Another consideration is that the treats are very small. They are much smaller than the small size bone treats that we used in the past with another dog. Yet another positive is that each treat is about 1.5 calories. Any reward we give our chi typically involves three treats, which amounts to a total of 4.5 calories. We have had three chihuahua’s over the years and they all loved food. We have tried to manage their weight and the Crazy Dog Train-Me treats help to achieve that goal. We can provide as many as four separate treats during the day and our chi has consumed under 20 calories. Thus, he gets his treats, which he loves, and we can help him maintain a healthy weight. In fact, he had his annual checkup last week and the vet was quite pleased overall and particularly with his weight. Also, when we started purchasing the Crazy Dog Train-Me treats from Amazon twelve months ago, there was pleasant difference in the price between Amazon and the local pet store. We were able to purchase one pound bags from Amazon for approximately $9.00, plus sales tax and free shipping. The local store was charging $12.00 plus sales tax for the same size bag. A purchase of three one pound bags, a beef, a chicken and a bacon netted a savings of around $9.00. The price difference has been minimized in recent months as the local store reduced their prices to around $9.50 for a one pound bag. Of course there is still the convenience of the online order that takes five minutes versus a stop at the store. Finally, when considering the purchase of treats, one has to consider the size of the dog. The Crazy Dog Train-Me treats are ideal for small dogs, probably under fifteen pounds.

Good value
I haven’t given these treats to my puppies yet. I really like that doesn’t have any corn, soy, BHA, BHT, or ethoxyquin. These treats are a great size for puppy and for small dogs because they are less than a half an inch wide.I received the treat pouch today, March 25th 2015 and the expiration date is January 27th 2018. I’m excited to try these!***UPDATE: 8/31/15 – these treats are great and I just purchased my THIRD bag!! My two miniature schnauzer puppies are seven months old and they love these treats. I love that there are small so they can eat them quickly; which is perfect for training and little moments during the day :-)*my tip: move the treats into a air tight container because they do dry out in the pouch. Having them in an air tight container keeps them fresh and still chewy.

Great treat that doesn’t upset my dog’s stomach!
I buy this and the bacon flavor for my dog consistently. It’s a great chewy little treat for my pup. He loves them and comes running any time he hears the bag crinkling (or any bag at this point – yay Pavlovian response!). The price is right, there is a decent amount in the bag, they are soft and pliable enough that you can hide medication in them (you can mash a few together with your fingers if needed), and they’re low in calories so they’re perfect for training sessions. I usually only feed my dog all natural, grain-free food and treats, and I feel good giving these to him to liven things up sometimes. The ingredients seem pretty straightforward and relatively good for dogs, without a bunch of fillers. The bags usually last a long time because I give them to him sparingly, and they stay fresh and soft thanks to the resealable top. My dog does sometimes get an upset stomach if I introduce new treats into his routine (even all natural ones), but I’ve never noticed any negative reaction to these, even if I don’t give them to him for a while or if I give him a bit more at once, and I’ve been giving them to him since he was a young puppy. As you can see from the pics, my dog can’t take his attention away from them.

But too expensive!!

Gave it a one star only because my mini aussidoodle will not eat them, actually throws them back at me with his mouth, he’s not a picky eater, quite the opposite, very food oriented, I think it’s the smokey smell and taste he doesn’t like…
Sue Wood –
Very expensive for very little. It took quite a while to receive it too.

This bag of treats is extremely expensive for the size of the bag. I was referred from Furbo who are promoting these to put in their machine which then toss to the dog. I have other treat that woke the same and 5 times the size. When I ordered I thought this was a large bag! Disappointing but thankfully refunded without any hassle. Thank you Amazon

they LOVE them. I need to watch calorie intake closely on my one dog so i try a lot of little training treats. She loved these. They have enough of a smell they catch a dog’s attention quickly. My big guy enjoys them too. They want them to come in bigger bags.
