Great quality
Perfect for my African Grey parrot

Fabric not secured to the inner tube. Slips and twists. Bird falls and slips.
I love this perch but the soft fabric is not glued all the way around so it twists and slips around the inner tube when my medium-sized parrot stands on it which makes her hesitate to use it. If the fabric did not slip (JUST GLUE IT ALL THE WAY INSIDE) it would probably help her get used to it. I was looking forward to trying it to offer her a softer option for her arthritis in her feet but it doesn’t work simply because her feet slip due to the material not being fixed. It’s also not that big and is somewhat of a pain to bend but that’s a 2ndary issue.

Thick, Sturdy, Comfy Perch Texture, Questionable Hardware
My two small conures spend a lot of time outside their cage, so I initially thought this warm, thick rope perch would make a nice arched stand on top of their cage.The perch does adjust easily, and the bolts can be positioned to fit between the cage top bars with a bit of flexibility. Unfortunately, the bolts are far too long, and there are no protective end caps, which are commonly found on higher-quality rope perches. Once installed on top of the cage, the bolts extended at least 1½ inches past the wing nuts, making the setup look unsightly and, more importantly, obstructive to the birds’ movement inside the cage.For safety reasons, I do not recommend using this perch on top or on the outside of a cage where the bolts fasten on the inside. Wing spread and flapping space are critical for birds’ exercise, and exposed bolts or hard protruding hardware can pose a risk, especially in already limited cage space.I ended up installing the perch horizontally inside the cage so the excess bolt length wasn’t above the birds’ living area and are instead protruding on the outside. Even then, I’m still not a fan of the exposed bolt ends without caps. I can easily see clothing or towels catching on them during cage cleaning. I’ll likely have my husband shorten the bolts to make it safer and more practical.The perch itself is thick, sturdy, and comfortable, but the hardware design really needs improvement to make it user-friendly.

WONTEE BIRD COMFORT PLUSH-PERCH
Whenever I see a plush and comfortable-looking perch, like the WONTEE PERCH, I try it out and hope my parrot will take to it, and he did. He has a large cage and plenty of room for the necessary perches required for good foot health. And this perch will probably become his new resting perch because it’s gentle on his feet and green.The length of the perch measures 18″ and the interior diameter is approximately 3″. The very soft fluff is about 1/2″ thick. The perch is u-shaped but is slightly bendable for a minor adjustment if you need to place the perch in a corner of the cage. The perch comes with all necessary hardware for installation. It is your standard over-sized washer and wingnut and very easy to install and quite durable. I have a medium Timneh African Grey and the perch is a perfect size for him. He perches comfortably with plenty of tail room. It will even fit the Congo Grey. So if your bird is smaller, the fluff will allow them to grip comfortably along the perch. It looks nice inside the cage and invites him to chew—quiet is always a good thing. But best of all, this perch is very affordable and you don’t see that often when it comes to bird supplies! Get one while they’re available, this perch will go fast.
