The Honda of Litter Machines
Reminds me of a Japanese automobile that may not be made from the most luxurious materials or have all the fancy features, but the important wear/tear bits, well-engineeded packaging and affordability is what makes this machine stand out. This machine is the easiest machine to clean I’ve used because it allows you to disassemble the globe, flaps that hold the litter, catch trays and actually properly sanitize them, without losing litter in impossible to clean places. For those who may not have a yard to hose out their entire machine, this feature alone is a boon to those who must clean inside of an apartment bathtub or shower without too much drama. It also has the largest opening of any machine I’ve used, allows your 25lb tomcat tabby to use without contorting themselves, yet the overall dimensions are tidy, lightweight because the packaging wastes very little space. It has a geometrically shaped litter catcher that allows larger litter to pass more easily, yet keeps the clumped waste from entering the catch as well. It’s quiet, no more noisy than a modern dishwasher for all of 60 seconds that each cycle lasts. Simple front button panel to clean and WiFi. Normal 12v 1A charger that doesn’t overheat or require a bulky power brick. Every piece in the machine is accessable, replacable. This is the Honda Accord of Litter Machines. You may not find it fancy, but cannot help but marvel how everything is packaged and how livable this will be even months, years later

G1 Self-Cleaning Litter Box- EXCELLENT!
I am thrilled with my G1 self- cleaning auto litter box! My two cats adjusted immediately. It was easy to set up, my kitty litter worked great, very quiet when cleaning, and my favorite is only having to clean out the bottom container every 5 days. I am amazed with the odor control. Also, the safety feature kicks in when my other cat enters, so my kitties are always safe. I love the app on my phone that keeps me updated when more litter is needed or if my cats are using it, and number of times per 24 hour cycle. The G1 has made my life easier, my home odor free, and it was reasonably priced.

Not what expected
Did not like this produce. It gets stuck and will not self clean. Top bar disconnects easily and falls off. Smell is not contained. Is quiet but it’s not functioning proper so there is no movement.

How we did without it all these years surprises me. It was easy to assemble, only needs emptied once a week and we have two cats. We are very happy with this product.

Good unit and good customer service
I had previously reviewed this device, but at a lower rating. After working with the seller, it seems that I have a defective sensor. As a result, I am re-reviewing the product higher.I would say that the device is efficient and does make life easier cleaning up after tour cat on each use. You should consider buying it.

Very happy with this litter box
I wanted a Litter Robot, but I just couldn’t justify the $700+ price tag for a litter box. Then I saw this G1 automatic litter box for $299. It has the inner barrel design that rotates and sifts the litter like the Litter Robot. I am replacing another automatic litter box that “rakes” the “lumps” out of the litter. That litter box has worked OK, but not great. This G1 was easy to assemble. It was easy to pair with my wifi and phone. I have had it less than a week, but so far, I am very pleased with it’s operation. There is absolutely no odor. I’m thrilled.

Update: customer service team reached out quickly to address concerns raised in the review. They are coming out with another version which sounds like a better solution. Company seems to be open to feedback and adjusting their product. Interested to see the V2 of this product where they are adjusting their sifting.Definitely not worth it. We bought this as an alternative to the Litter Robot. This is horrible, the piece that sifts clean litter has far too big of holes so if your cat has small poops or pees it just keeps cycling through and back into the “clean” litter. You can see this in the video I uploaded. It’s also absolutely not meant for a typical house cat—our cat is only 10 lbs and can barely fit in it. She ends up peeing on the edge of it because there isn’t enough room. It pours litter out at is rotates, and we have litter to the correct line. It makes a mess.Don’t waste $300 on this, it’s worse than scooping yourself.

Great, when mesh is fixed
I love this litter box!! It works great and makes life so much easier. I gave it 4 stars because the mesh looking insert the litter sits on is only help on by very thin thread. It easily snaps when pulled on. It came undone and I had to manually sew it back together with a bigger string and a jumbo needle I forced through all the existing holes. I don’t want to keep buying replacements

Withholding final star total until I’ve had it longer. Had a litter robot 3 but issues started happening out of warranty and repair or replacement parts were more than this litterbox new. It’s quieter than lr3 for sure. Similar in design. The interior is a bit smaller than lr3 but it’s not proving to be an issue. The waste opening is nearly about 50% larger than the size of lr3, a vaste improvement IMHO. The bags with drawstrings and the design of the waste drawer make sealing up waste a snap. The app is ok so far. No crashing issues yet. It’s simple and easy to navigate. Fluffy had no issues switching from the lr3 to this litterbox. Something I’d like to see would be a nightlight like lr3 has. Definitely not a necessity but going from having it to not is a noticeable difference. I bought the Bartuke adjustable cat ramp and it works seamlessly. I’ll update review when or if necessary. Update Nov. 25th. Litterbox is working perfectly. The app notifications are critical letting me know immediately if there’s any issue. Sensors are completely accurate as well. Much quicker and easier to clean than the lr3. No complaints to add at all.

J’étais très hésitant de payer ce montant pour un litière! Sérieusement, après une semaine, je ne m’en passerai plus! Fini le raclage de merdre à tous les jours pour éviter les odeurs!C’est vraiment surprenant aussi comment mon chat à adopter la G1. Je suis pas certain par contre si j’avais un MainCoon de 26 livres qu’il aurait la place mais pour 12-15 livres ça fonctionne super bien!

Received a defective device out of the box. The device reports the litter bin is full regardless of status and will not automatically cycle. Mechanically it works fine, and at least one of my cats has used it a few times, even if I need to manually cycle it.The app is functional (android).The “24-7 Customer Support” is an email address which I emailed, and haven’t received a reply after nearly 48 hours.The fault appears to be with the Infrared LEDs and/or recievers – Only one of the LEDs appears to work (checked with cellphone camera – IR LEDS glow blue on a camera) and it’s very dim. Since these LEDs do double duty as ‘bin-full’ and ‘Cat sticks head in’ sensors – disabling/bypassing them isn’t a great idea.Unless I receive a reply from support I’ll be processing a refund.Shame seems a decent product for the price – IF they could nail down the Quality issues that seem to be moderately common based on other reviews.
