On of the star rating the categories was Flavor. I have not personally tasted the food. My fish like gobbling it up. I don’t think it involves taste buds. I think they like the challenge of capturing the granules before it sinks.

GOLDFISH LOVE IT!
I ordered this food for my goldfish which are about 7 years old and they love this stuff. They always look forward to dinner time and they are in great shape and have never gotten sick so I’m sure this consistent diet has something to do with maintaining their health as well. I highly recommend these goldfish granules.

Quality Gokd Fish Food and an Economical Price.
My little gold fish have grown to be 10″ long on this product. I could “graduate” the fish to the larger Koi food, but will stay with this product. The fish love it, do well on it, and it doesn’t cloud the aquarium water. Give the fish some skinned peas, old fashioned rolled oats, or Fiber One cereal to add needed fiber.

My fish don’t love these…
70% sink 30% float before sinking. These are very dense. My fish eat them but don’t really love them. I can tell when they stop eating and they never stop eating (the few times too much was poured in)
