Excellent dog food!
I’ve been ordering this dog food for my senior German Shepherd who has a chicken allergy. It is so hard to find dog food without chicken. My local grocery store doesn’t carry even one brand of true poultry free dog food. Even Iams and Blue Buffalo uses poultry byproducts. Nature’s Recipe is a good quality dog food at a reasonable price that is proud of being poultry free – which I appreciate so much! Many times I have bought dog food that I thought was poultry free only to see my dog break out in a bright red itchy rash on his belly. Then I’ll read the ingredients closer and find poultry byproducts in there. This one is a tried and true brand for us, and I highly recommend. I appreciate their attention to quality ingredients. Oh, and my dog loves it!

Maintains good weight
My 2 dogs are on this food & has been for about 2 years now. My dog was obese after being on bedrest from tearing her ACL. We had to get her weight down, and this food has been perfect. The vet says she is now at the perfect weight. Plus I like the price point and the ingredients in this food. My dogs get a little splash of milk in their food too.

My dogs loved this food. I buy this to change things up a bit when things get boring. Nutritionally it is a great source of food.

perfect.. I believe lamb is easy for them to digest.. this has been the dry food that I give my pooch, it’s not the most expensive but it’s not the cheapest either.. I usually put some beef with chicken on top of it.. her breakfast is a more expensive canned food

Our dogs enjoy it
At the time I came across this brand, I was doing research in best dry dog food for dogs as far as nutrients and quality ingredients, no fillers and that sort of thing. Comparing prices of each that were highly regarded. Nature’s Recipe came highly recommended and it was less expensive than some of the other brands that we had been using. No issues with the dogs. They are maintaining a healthy weight and don’t have any health issues while switching to this dog food.
