Cute swing attracts bird interest
We don’t have pet birds so we put a protective coat on this and hung it up outside where the birds in our yard tend to gather (near our feeders and bird house). No consistent activity on it yet, but have seen the birds fluttering on and around it, so happy to be able to offer them another perch or nesting alternative.

My budgies just aren’t that interested in it. They sit on top at night sometimes.I’m not a fan of the chain or clasps it comes with. Seems cheep and could be a potential hazard if they mess with it.

My Indian Ringneck Parrot 🦜 likes to chew things. This wood bird tunnel is just the thing for her inquisitiveness and chewing drive. I know she’s going to love it. It is a good size for her. I got the large. I imagine the small would be better for parakeets. This is really good quality wood. I like it so much better than the colored wood toys that are made for birds. Also, this looks sturdy and likely she won’t be able to destroy it quickly, providing hours of entertainment for both of us. The wood toy/hammock arrived flat and all I had to do was pull it and shape it into whatever shape I wanted. I like the circle best. I believe it’s worth the $17 for a toy/hide sleeping hammock with “good wood!” . I like it so much. I will buy it again if she chews it up ^__^ Hope this helps!
