TOKAYIFE Quiet Spinner Hamster Running Exercise Wheel
The wheel itself is a good value and has a lot going for it, but the squeaking keeps it from being perfect for us.The large 9.4‑inch size is technically big enough for small animals, but our guinea pigs are just a bit oversized for it, so they use it occasionally as a fun item rather than a full-on exercise wheel. Even so, they do enjoy hopping on and giving it a spin, and the bright green color and simple, modern look fit nicely into their habitat.The materials feel sturdy, and the adjustable stand makes it easy to position securely, even with their weight. It’s lightweight but not flimsy, and the plastic is smooth with no rough edges. From a durability standpoint, it seems like it should hold up well over time. It’s also very easy to clean, which is always a plus with piggies.My only real issue is the sound. Despite being marketed as a quiet spinner, ours squeaks more than half the time. We checked to make sure their weight didn’t cause it, and it still squeaks when spun empty by hand. It’s not super loud, and it’s not constant, but it’s noticeable enough that you’re aware of it whenever they’re playing with it.For the price, it’s still a solid value…good materials, nice design, and generally easy to use. If the squeak weren’t there, it would easily be a 5‑star item. If you don’t mind a bit of intermittent noise, it’s a fun enrichment piece even for animals slightly larger than it’s designed for.

Very quiet and sturdy
It’s surprisingly quiet! Love it! I thought it would be too small but actually it’s perfect for my robó dwarf hamster! It’s wide enough, my hamster still running on it while I was typing this lol!! The quality is very good and sturdy!

Wheel wobbles when it spins
The pieces all arrived intact. They hold together with tension except for the round piece that threads onto the axle that holds the wheel. It seems really sturdy overall, which i like a lot. It’s disappointing that the wheel doesn’t spin straight even after I made sure the wheel was seated properly on the axle. The wheel wobbles too much for my pet mice to use it safely.

I enjoy bringing awareness for potential customers when a product is not up to par, but I really enjoy when I can give a legitimate five-star review to a great product, and that is what I get to do today.Around Christmas time my 8-year-old got a Chinese dwarf hamster and everything that goes along with that. One of the things she obviously got was a wheel from the local pet store. The wheel she got was metal and mesh, and it’s squeaked like crazy. I really wanted to spray the thing down with WD-40 but I was afraid I would kill her brand new hamster. So, for a few weeks we suffered the incessant squeaking all night long as her hamster runs marathons inside the metal wheel.Enter: this quiet hamster wheel. The first thing to note is how easy it was to put together. It does not come assembled, so some assembly is required but my 8-year-old did it without any help from anyone in about 5 minutes.As far as quality of materials, I was pleasantly surprised. Based on the pictures and just my history buying random stuff off the internet I was expecting the plastic used to be much cheaper, but I’m happy to report that this seems to be a hard durable plastic.This wheel is a little bit larger than our 8-in one, but fits nicely in our hamster environment. My 8-year-old once again took control and placed it in the cage herself. She covered the base with bedding and made sure the wheel could spin freely without wobbling or toppling over. The weight distribution seems very good which is important because you don’t want the hamster to go for a run and end up in an Indiana Jones movie.Regarding the sound, this thing is SILENT! The seller is being too modest claiming that it is just quiet. We can finally rest easy at night, or at least easier, without the squeaky wheel of doom piercing our eardrums all night. I also like this style much better than the metal mesh because there is no chance that the hamster will get its paws or claws caught in the mesh openings.Very happy customers here, and my 8-year-old concurs.
