Excellent carrier but the additional accessories not so much
I rated this 5 stars for the carrier itself, NOT for the additional items that it comes with. Now the carrier is very well made and sturdy. The color green which is what I purchased is very pretty. One of the reasons I purchased is because you can insert your seatbelt through the back and although my buckles are larger than the inserts, I can still put my seatbelt through the backstraps and it’s still pretty sturdy in the seat.Now what I absolutely disliked was the food cup. PLEASE look at it before you install. Mine was extremely sharp and it can easily cut you or your birdie’s toe off. I threw mine out. I only use the carrier to take him to the vet as when I travel I use a larger travel size cage where he is more free to move around so not having the foodcup is not a problem for me.I wish the perch was a natural perch or at least rope but I actually wrapped vet tape around it so he wouldn’t slide off because it is very smooth.So in general it’s a really nice carrier, including the curtain up front is a nice touch, he’s much calmer with it down so I definitely recommend purchasing it but wouldn’t rely so much on the accessories especially the food cup.

I have been looking for a safe way to take my bird on vet visits and short trips, and this backpack is exactly what I need. The window is great because it allows my bird to see what is going on. This seems to keep my bird much calmer when I am taking it places. I also really like that a sunshade is included. This is a small feature, but it is a huge difference if it is too bright or if the bird is a little overwhelmed by everything going on outside.It is surprisingly sturdy thanks to the supports inside, so it does not fall on the bird when you are walking. A perch is included, along with food bowls that snap in or out. There is also a good amount of ventilation on the sides, which means it does not get stuffy inside. The shoulder straps are comfortable, which is good if you need to take your bird on a longer walk. The fact that it folds flat for storage is a great feature if you have limited cabinet space. This is a great carrier.

I bought this backpack carrier for my small bird mainly for vet visits and short outings, and I’m honestly impressed with the quality for the price. It feels sturdy without being bulky, and the structure holds its shape really well, which made me feel much more confident about my bird’s safety compared to softer carriers I’ve used in the past.The clear front window is a great touch. Once I peeled off the protective film, visibility was crystal clear, and my bird seemed calmer being able to see out. I also like that there are mesh panels on the sides for airflow, plus covers you can close if your bird gets overstimulated or if you need a little shade. Ventilation feels thoughtful, which was a big concern for me.Inside, the perch is easy to install and adjust, and the bottom mat adds comfort. My bird took to it quickly and didn’t seem stressed once inside. The backpack itself is comfortable to wear, even for longer walks, with padded straps and a breathable back panel. I also appreciate that it folds down flat for storage when not in use.A couple small notes: this carrier is definitely best for small birds like cockatiels, parakeets, or similar sizes, not larger parrots. I’d also recommend checking any accessories before use and removing or adjusting anything you don’t feel 100% comfortable with for your bird.Overall, this is a well-designed, practical carrier that makes traveling with a bird much less stressful for both of us. Better for birds smaller than doves.
Due to the vertical design, this is at least definitely better suited for birds persay…with shorter tailfeathers. My white ringneck dove, Vanilla, or as I lovingly say Nilla, will be your lovely model today. Ventilation is decent. Both side panels are mesh with optional half shades that roll down and button into place. The front also has a roll-down shade. I have to admit, this carrier has some nice features, such as a removable mess mat, the bowl is able to clip into the perch for stability, and the perch has two height options. One is up high, just below the mesh, and the other is at the bottom. The back of this has an armored sort of hard back, so it doesn’t mush against you, and it and the straps are quite comfy. As for what Nilla thought: as mentioned earlier, the vertical design was a bit cramped for her tailfeathers. No matter which way she turned, they were against the wall. This is definitely better suited for birds way smaller than doves but it’ll work for quick vet visits at least. A win is a win I guess.

It has been well considered and constructed.it comes with food pictorial instructions, though I managed to assemble it without referring to them. The straps are wide and comfortable, though I would generally prefer to carry it with the handle. If you ever need to travel with your bird or take it to the vets this is a great option. The food dishes clamp on quite securely, though I would probably only add these while stationary. The perch screws on under the side flaps and are easy to remove to the higher or lower position. The 2 side flaps can be raised and also have a clear window for the bird to see out of.This is actually a good option for small cats as well as birds. Although there is a small footprint a cat could sit up in this carrier and enjoy good views around it, and may even like to go for walks in this. The thick straps make it comfy enough even with a weightier pet in it.

La impresión general es muy positiva. La estructura se siente firme y bien cosida, pero al mismo tiempo es ligera y fácil de manejar. Para una coralina hay espacio suficiente y viaja cómoda.Me gusta mucho la ventana frontal transparente, que permite vigilar al pájaro y parece ayudar a que vaya más tranquilo, sobre todo con la cortina bajada. Se puede pasar el cinturón del coche por la parte trasera.El diseño es ergonómico y resulta cómodo de llevar, y el hecho de que sea plegable se agradece muchísimo.Como puntos mejorables, revisaría el comedero incluido (conviene comprobar bordes antes de usar) y la percha podría ser menos lisa o de material más natural.Conclusión: mochila muy bien diseñada y práctica para visitas al veterinario o salidas cortas. Buena compra.
