    Outstanding bedding! clean, comfy, eco-friendly!
I recently switched to the Fresh News recycled-paper bedding for my little pet’s habitat and I’m very impressed. The soft paper pellets feel gentle underfoot and the low-dust nature is a major plus (I noticed less airborne dust compared to previous bedding).Highlights:The odor-control is noticeably better: the bedding absorbs moisture well and helps keep the cage smelling fresh.Maddie’s Pet ProductsIt’s environmentally friendly, which matters to me: recycled material, biodegradable when composted.Skilos, A Family Pet StoreVery comfortable for my small animal (hamster/guinea pig, etc): soft so I feel good about them digging/sleeping in it.The 10 L size was a good fit for my setup — easy to handle, store, and change out.If you’re looking for a high-quality bedding option that’s comfy for your pet, friendly for your home (in terms of dust & odor), and better for the environment, I highly recommend this one.

    good quality, controls odor well
been using this for 3 or 4 days now for my 5 week old bunny and it’s been going well. trying to litter train her and so far her pee and poop doesn’t smell. the bedding itself doesn’t have any kind of chemical or unusual odor. it just smells like paper. worth the price.

    Best small critters litter
I have been buying this critter litter for some years now. I have tried many different ones, but this one is the absolute best for my dwarf rabbits. It’s easy to clean, i use it in their litter boxes, and they love their litter so much, i made beds of it for them. I change their beds and clean litter boxes once a week, because the absorption is so great, that it doesn’t smell bad for a whole week. Big winner!

    Easy to use, controls odors
We used the bedding in the litter box for our 1 year old rabbit. No weird smells and the rabbit didn’t protest the new item in her cage like she has with other bedding. It lasts longer than you’d expect and helps to control the odors from the rabbit.

My problem kitty took right to it
Worked like a charm. Due to a veterinary procedure, I have to use pellet litter for a few days with my cats. Unfortunately, all that the local retail places carry is pine pellets. ALL of them. So I ordered this and during the wait used the pine. What a disaster. The older cat hesitated a bit, but after I took a clump out of the old litter and put it in the pine pellets, he went right them. The baby (well, 6 months…), however, wanted NOTHING to do with it. First he decided that his papers in his play area (I HAD several of the pop up tubes in a large circle, with the brown packing papers piled loosely in the middle) would be the perfect temporary toilet. So, all the papers came up and much steam vac’ing of the carpet. Then I thought he was using it because there was more usage in the pine. Nope, I found out this morning he was using the inside of his pop up tubing. What a smelly mess. So, throw away that smelly stuff… Thankfully within a couple hours THIS stuff was delivered. Let me tell you, what a lifesaver! Little Mr. Nosey was in there “helping” me with the change over, of course. No sooner had the paper pellets hit the box then he was in “christening” them in there new home. Perfect! Would recommend for anyone that has to use a temporary litter for any reason. The neutral smell seems to be much more attractive – it just smells like paper, and they go right in and do their business. Exactly what it was made for.

    Highly recommend
I actually have a monthly subscription on this item. I litter trained my rabbit. No smell and it easier cleans up. No dust to bother the rabbit. You do need to change out the litter twice a week to be good.

    Love this stuff
I use this for ferrets and I definitely reccomend it. I’ve used plenty of other brands and other types of litter and so far this is the best. It doesn’t stick to their fur and get tracked around the cage, absorbs everything, and somehow takes better care of odor than litters that are scented or otherwise claim to control odor. Ticks all of my boxes. One critical review said there was plastic in it and I haven’t seen anything like that- there are flecks of colored paper occasionally but they’re clearly not plastic by the texture. I notice myself having to do less litterbox maintenance, for whatever combination of reasons, and a little bit goes a long way (further by volume than other types/brands). The price is not great, but overall I’m willing to pay it.

The product itself it great. I use this exclusively for all my rabbits and have for years. It absorbs urine well and they’re not tempted to eat it unless they’re having some digestive troubles and even then they’re okay to nibble a couple pieces. The biggest problem is that it’s about half the price from a regular pet store. I had this on subscription to autoship every 2 weeks for my 3 rabbits, and the price just kept creeping up and up and up until I had to concede that the convenience of next day delivery was not worth double the price. It dropped back down to regular price a couple months ago and then it’s just crept up to where it is again. Nonsense. When you factor in the profit margin the brick and mortar pet stores are making on this product (probably high its literally just paper) and then you factor in Amazon’s 2x price… it ends up being what? 75-100%+ profit margin? Predatory. Predatory and obscene.

I had tried many well-known brands when I found this FRESH NEWS brand on Amazon. This is the best one I have found and used. It leaves zero odour, is soft on my rabbit paws, is 100% dust free and urine-soiled spots are easy to identify. It also scoops like a charm and leaves no mess.I highly recommend this product. A+++

After about a week of use, i finally have two ways of using it. One way is to just add these pellets into your bunny’s toilet, it would do its job. But the bad thing is you need to add the amount at least cover the bottom of the toilet box. And after 24 hours, you have to throw all that pellets away and put new in. It could be very pricey. My rabbit refuses to use his toilet if I just scoop the used parts away since he thought the smell is bad and tended to pee elsewhere in his habitat. Another way is you put a training pad on the bottom of the toilet box, then add a little of these pellets on the training pad. Then it would absorb the smell. So the next day just throw away the whole thing. My rabbit toilet have a wire above, so it works well in this way.
