Great for trapping litter and easy to clean
I’ve purchased this mat twice now and currently use one for each of our litter boxes. One of our kittens is terrible about tracking litter all over the floor when she jumps out, and these mats help catch a lot of it before it spreads around the room.The double-layer design works well for trapping loose litter and it actually holds quite a bit before needing to be emptied. I usually just pick it up, open the layers, and dump the litter back into the box.Cleaning is simple too — hosing it down outside works well when it needs a deeper clean. Setup is quick as well; you simply place it under or in front of the litter box and it’s ready to go.The material feels durable and has held up well with daily use. It also stays in place nicely instead of sliding around on the floor.If you’re considering this mat, just make sure you choose the right size for your space, litter box, and cat. Great! Wish they didn’t ship folded up
These do an awesome job at trapping litter, and for a fraction of the price that I would have paid at PetSmart or somewhere else.They came in the packaging folded up, which was kind of a pain because you have to place something heavy on top of them for a little while to get rid of the seams and get them to lay flat. I’ve also washed them a couple times, so you may be able to speed up the flattening process by running them under some hot water in the bathtub.Overall super easy to use – just open up your trash can and slide the litter out of the open end of the mat – done!

Great idea, but be careful when emptying it!
This litter mat is a great idea, and I have noticed a decrease in litter on my floor after putting it down. But when I try to empty it, litter goes everywhere. I tried different angles, going super slow, not tilting it too much, and litter still came flying out of the holes in the top. I had to vacuum again, because so much of it ended up on the floor. I’m going to start dumbing it straight into the trash bin outside instead, but it adds an extra step.

I have had a cat for 11 years and have tried numerous products to control the spread of litter. This is by far the best. Although it does not prevent my long hair from spreading litter across the floor, it does control probably 90%. The mat collects the litter EASILY and you can dispose of it EASILY.

It’s hard to use to remove the sand
So this seems to be ok, thus the 3 star. It catches the sand and you should be able to ‘pour it out’. I kept it because I think I may not use it for the cats, but for my indoor shoes to catch any dust/dirt.So you may wonder why the minus two stars. The cons are:1. The cats don’t like to step on it.. so they jump over this… not sure if it’s because the plastic on the top is hard or what, but I find more cat sand around it than inside.2. What it does capture inside, is when the cats are covering their little packages and the sand flys outside of the box. However, when I try to ‘dump’ the cat sand, there is a lip that catches the sand. It’s also a bit awkward to pour the sand in the sandbox with a lid. Most of it doesn’t really come out.

Really Works!
This litter catching mat is quite innovative. It really works to catch 99% of the litter and it is very, very easy to pickup, take outside, and shake it out. For reference, I use the corn-based litter products. I have tried other litter mats over the years and only one other worked as well. It was a “rug” with long “fibers” that would hold moisture. Unfortunately one of my cats decided it was just like outside grass and decided to use it as a pee-mat. This new mat has no such attraction and he now contains himself to just the litter box.

Works well, but wish there were more in-between sizes!
I’ve been in need of a good litter mat as my 6 month old kitten often tracks litter all around her litter box and all over the house. She also manages to sometimes perfectly kick litter out of her mostly-enclosed box!This litter mat has been pretty good in preventing litter from being tracked everywhere. I did get the smallest size as the size up (30×24) would have been a bit too large for my area. I do wish there was more of an in-between size as the one I got is a pretty slim. However, to remedy this issue of size, I pushed the mat up against a wall and rotated her litter box towards the wall so that she’s more inclined to land directly on the center of the mat. This has worked very well!In addition, cleaning the mat is quite easy. I typically just dump it directly into a large garbage bag, and nothing spills out onto the ground.Overall great value and recommend! Again, just wish there was more variety in sizes!

Product is ok…but I didn’t receive the actual size which i am suppose to receive the size I received is 21><28 but the actual size is 24><30. Fake size they don’t deliver as per the description.

Opens on 3 sides with velcro making it easier to clean then the ones sewn closed on 3 sides. Also my two arrived not folded and I could use them right away, unlike the other similar product that I had to put heavy weights on to get the folds and creases out.
