took some time for my dog to adjust (bribed with a ton of treats) but once she got use to it, this made cutting her nails a breez!!! the motor is supper quite. the light helps a ton with the process. quality feels good. overall im happy customer

We purchased this because my dog has seizures. Due to his seizures, we had to stop taking him to get groomed. Normally we would just clip them, but I found when we clip his nails, they leave his nails sharp. I was shopping on Amazon, and I came across this grinder which also included some clippers. The price was great and not more than the nail grinder I bought myself. Therefore, we decided to try this grinder to help with our dogs’ nail sharpness and I’m so happy we did! It took two days to deliver and when I opened the package, I saw on the box that there were three different types of grinders soft medium, and coarse. We decided to charge it until it was time to use it. My dog is a chihuahua and corgi mix, and his nails are not that thick. I did have to let him sniff it as he’s not a fan of foreign objects. First, I turned on the grinder to get my dog used to the sound to avoid scaring him the first time use. The noise isn’t too loud where he was terrified, so it was helpful to just have it run for a little while without it being used on him right away. When he gets overwhelmed, he does have a seizure so we had to be sure this would work. He was not scared of the noise so that was a plus! After about 4/5 minutes we felt he was ready for us to use it on him. We started on the lowest speed to start with as he’s not the biggest fan of getting his nails grinded. I was skeptical about the level of power and noise this little grinder was going to have. The one I use for my feet is loud and my dog is not a fan. The power was not at all an issue and the noise isn’t as loud for the amount of power it gives. It’s not loud at all and helps with the sharpness of his nails after clipping them. I’m so happy it works, money well spentIt took about 15 minutes for me to be done. We only charged it once and have used it twice since there. It is extremely helpful to have at the house a special needs dog! Now he is back to running around and we don’t have to worry about him scratching up the furniture or our bodies. I highly recommend it if you’re looking to do your dog’s grooming at home. Make sure you work with a paper towel or towel, so the nail clippings aren’t getting everywhere. If you’re looking to save some extra money or if you have a special needs dog as I do and cannot make grooming visits but also keep your dog happy, I think this nail grinder is perfect! This is a high-quality product and super simple to use as everything comes on and off easily and you don’t need to read any instructions. Any instructions you need are on the box.

Great product little messy
This is my first time buying nail clippers or a trimmer for my dogs, iv always had the groomers help me but now that we moved we havent found a new groomer yet and their nails needed to be done.Opening the box everything looked really nice, alot better then I expected especially for the price point. The light coming off the trimmer is strong and the grinding wheel wasnt too loud. My dogs were barking at it at first but within 2-3 minutes it was easy to use on their nails and they didnt seem to mind at all.I started off with the clippers and got the longest of the nails, everything else was pretty ok. I used the trimmer after the clippers to clesn up any edges the clippers made but overall it was easy and i feel i can confidently do this myself with ease now.The only reason this product isnt getting 5 stars is because it makes a mess with the nail dust and the area that the dust shoots out thenside i feel like could easily have a small plastic container for capturing the nail dust and then you can just empty it after each use. Besides the mess the trimmer worked great and the nail clippers we also easy to use and cut great without and damage to their nail.One cool feature on the clipper is a small guard that helps make sure you dont clip too much. Also the trimmer grinds the nail down super well but i touched it with my skin and it did not hurt me so its pretty safe while also working great.I would recomend this for sure and would buy again if i lost this set and needed another tomorow.

PROBLEM SOLVED.
MY CLUMBER SPANIEL RESCUE HAS BEEN TERRIFIED BY ALL THINGS MECHANICAL EVEN ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSHES. THIS KIT WORKS. THE SOUND IS ALMOST WITHOUT SOUND. THE CLIPPERS ARE HIGH QUALITY AND THE GRINDER IS FANTASTIC.

This nail grinder feels like it’s good quality. I appreciate that the instructions include how to slowly get the dog used to the grinder before actually using it on them. I haven’t used it yet because my dog doesn’t like her nails being trimmer so I have only turned it on and held it close to her while giving her treats, but it is really quiet and easy to hold so I think it will work well. There are three speed settings, a light on the end that you can turn on and off and a battery indicator that shows 25/50/75%. The grinding bit is like a stone rather than sand paper so I feel like it will be durable and usable for a while, plus there’s an extra one. It is all as described. So far I would recommend it!
