Modern little nano tank that looks surprisingly premium
I originally planned to use this tank as a small extra setup, but once I unpacked it I changed my mind. It actually looks much more modern than the 2.5 gallon shrimp tank in my daughter’s room, so this one is replacing it. The rimless design looks really nice. Very clean and modern, especially for a small desktop aquarium. The glass clarity is good and the whole thing just looks neat. The included light is surprisingly bright for such a small kit. It’s a basic white/blue LED combo, but it’s definitely strong enough for simple plants and floaters like moss, salvinia, frogbit, and similar easy stuff. For a small planted nano or shrimp tank, the brightness is actually very nice. I was also pleasantly surprised that the lamp body is metal, not plastic. The only downside is that it’s not dimmable, so it’s basically full brightness all the time, but it does make the tank look very crisp. The lid is also a nice touch and I love it. Precut to fit and It’s slightly matte instead of fully transparent, which actually helps hide water spots and fingerprints. The kit also comes with brownish sand and even a natural rock. I really like the sand color – something different from the usual black or white substrate I have in my other tanks. The filter works fine and runs quietly. Intake sponge cover is also included which is great for our shrimp and fry. Funny thing is the filter housing is transparent, which I actually like because you can see what’s going on inside. Overall it’s a small tank, but it feels thoughtfully designed and looks great. I already run several aquariums, and this one still surprised me with how nice and modern it looks. Very cool little nano setup. Five stars. Hope it helps.

Filter not working
My Betta’s tank got a small crack in it, so I ordered this tank to be delivered overnight. I did come in time. Unfortunately, after opening the box I noticed sand spilling out the sides. The sand inside spilled everywhere and left scratches on the glass. I decided I could work around that, and took out the instructions to set up the tank after it was set up and filled, I poured water into the assembled filter, and went to turn it on. Nothing. No sound from the filter at all. Doesn’t even sound like it’s getting power. Super sad about this. I spent over $72 on this.

Exceptional Nano Aquarium – Perfect for a Desktop Setup
I can’t say enough great things about this nano aquarium. The quality was obvious the moment I opened the box. First and foremost, it is real glass—not plastic, and the glass is thick (about a quarter inch), crystal clear, and completely free of blemishes. The back panel has a dark gray, almost black tint that really makes the plants, decorations, and fish stand out beautifully.Setup was incredibly easy. The included leveling pad was a thoughtful feature that helped ensure everything sat perfectly flat on my desk. I was especially relieved that the tank held water perfectly with no leaks, which is important since it’s sitting next to thousands of dollars’ worth of computer equipment! All of the included components were simple to assemble and worked right out of the box. I filled the tank and let it run for nearly two weeks just to be safe before adding my own substrate and decorations. The filter is whisper quiet. After adding my fish, the water has remained crystal clear for several days, so the filtration system is clearly doing an excellent job. The overall design is sleek and modern, making it perfect for a desk or small space. This is a very high quality product and an excellent value for the money. I couldn’t be happier with this setup and can give it my highest recommendation without hesitation!

Very easy beginners friendly fish tank!
We got this tank for our kid’s very first pet fish, and honestly, it’s been a perfect start. The size is just right, big enough for the fish to swim around comfortably, but small enough to sit on a desk or countertop without taking over the room. The glass is super clear and frameless, so you get a beautiful, unobstructed view of everything going on inside. The colors of the fish really pop, and it’s so fun watching them explore their little underwater world. You can practically see every ripple and tiny movement, it makes it feel alive.Setup was a breeze. It comes with everything you need: a transparent lid, a leveling mat, and quiet filtration and lighting systems that just… work. No complicated instructions, no endless trips to the store for random parts. Even for beginners, it’s stress-free.It’s also surprisingly stylish. The sleek design fits perfectly in a kid’s room or even on an office desk without looking like clutter. And as a bonus, it’s a fun little science lesson! Our kid has been fascinated watching fish behavior, plant growth, and just learning about what keeps an ecosystem balanced.Just a tip: swap out the filters every few weeks to keep the water pristine. Other than that, it’s basically a tiny, low-maintenance aquatic world that brings a lot of joy and curiosity to the household. Definitely a great starter tank that’s as fun to watch as it is easy to care for.

So easy to set up!
Perfect size for an office or kid’s room or just a tank for a Betta or small fish or two. I was impressed with it being a small tank that it comes with just about everything you need to set it up. The filter is great and works very well. It is also transparent which I love. Also included is a light fixture and a lid for the top with cutouts for the filter, the light, which is very bright, and a place for a heater and/or bubbler, and decorations. All you need is some substrate, plants-real or plastic, and I suggest a small heater which you can find a great one on Amazon called a DaToo. And of course fish!
