The first layer is made of non-woven cloth, which allows dog urine flow through to the absorbent core quickly. The second layer is made of paper tissue, added with dog attractant. The third layer is a mix of super-absorbent polymer and fluff pulp, which forms the absorbent core that can absorb and turn dog urine to gel.

Great pads! Decent absorption, but not fast absorbing
I got my puppy at 4 months of age and she isn’t potty trained. I used these pads and she immediately went to start going on top of the pads (most of the time). They’re good size for a puppy pad and the quality isn’t too shabby. Definitely getting your value for the cost and amount of pads.The only thing to note is that if your dog has a lot to pee, it will not absorb it all at a fast pace. It takes a few minutes for it to be fully absorbed. This caused the issue of my puppy walking through a puddle of pee after she goes on the pad. If I look away for a second, I’ll see pee pee paw prints across the floor.I then transitioned her into using the bathroom on a fake grass pad. To make it easier clean up and less loose liquid, I would out the pads under the fake grass to a rose the excess pee the grass did not catch.
