These are pretty loud and work pretty well. Definitely not the original WWII Antifa signalling devices, but they do the job.

These are incredible quiet. It is hard for my older dog to hear the click, so they are not too effective. My younger dog hears it okay. There are louder clicks out there if you have the same issue.

LOUD. Good for outdoor and distance use.
Very loud and durable; the sound carries well across distances and cuts through distractions, so these are perfect for use in field work and long-distance reinforcement. Mine haven’t rusted when exposed to damp conditions yet, although they do warp and soften with extensive use like any clicker will. I recommend pairing them with some leather holders that are on the market to extend their functional life and to make them a bit more comfortable in your hand, which also has the added effect of dampening the metallic sound.These are a bit too noisy for use indoors or with sensitive dogs, however, so it’s always advised to have a variety of tools available to suit the situation. If you work outdoors off-leash frequently, these are a must-have in my book.
