Even very little kitten can eat them crumbled up
Best price I could find for a decent quality pre and probiotic for kittens. My vet recommended probiotics for a 5-7 week old orphaned kitten with a shattered growth plate at the end of his tibia who found me. I bought these after researching brands, ingredients and prices. They are chewier than expected. He’s 11 weeks old now and they’re still too big and chewy for him. I’m sure he’d try! He’d probably choke trying. He’s a voracious eater. I don’t take that chance. I crumble them up into his wet food or by themselves. Either way he loves them. He had bad bowel trouble after taking antibiotics for a respiratory infection he also came with. These helped clear that up. I plan on keeping him on these. He had a very rocky start to life and was malnourished, dehydrated and terribly constipated. His kidneys were close to shutting down. He needs extra gut support for being weaned before he was ready. I’m banking on this product to help keep him healthy.

4 Cats, ALL Refuse
I think perhaps most of these ratings are from dog owners because NONE of my 4 cats would come near these. I have tried multiple times with each cat and have even left treats around the house to see if they would eat them in passing. Nada. To be honest, I would have been a little concerned if they DID eat them given the size and texture. Cats do not have proper chewing teeth, and the texture feels more sticky/chewy than I expected… more akin to something like Starburst candy, which I could definitely see being a struggle for them give the size of the treat.

Frustrating
This product gets stale very quickly. Once you open this package, it seems the softness of the chew goes away & makes it difficult for my (young) cat to eat. I think she likes them, but cannot chew, so she snubs them. Since you’re only to give them 1 per day, there’s no way to rush through the bag. The bag reseals, but despite never leaving the bag open beyond taking 1 out it won’t stay fresh & soft.

I was hoping my feral turned indoor kitty would benefit from the probiotics as she adjusts to indoor life. She turned her pretty pink nose up every time one was offered. My other cats would not give them a chance either. These were def repellent to my felines

Recommend for cats who love cheese and pukes a lot
My cat used to love to play and get pets, but recently became aggressive towards us and the other cats. The vet said it could be an underlying condition. We noticed our cat eats his food way too fast, thus causing him to puke a lot. He also loves human cheese. I started giving him this chewable once a day, and he turned back into the lovable cat. Not aggressive, plays, seems happier and loves pets again. He has no problem eating them.

Several months ago, Simon became a bit grumpy and withdrawn, nothing particularly intense or concerning, and we assumed it was due to the new cat. He also would occasionally sit in the bathroom and yell for no reason, and have extra stinky poops. I decided to try probiotics for him and within 48 hours he was the cat we knew and loved again: outgoing, over-the-top affectionate, super chatty. I can only assume he was in discomfort, and I only wish I’d tried them sooner.Cons: availability may be an issue. When I went to order more, they were unavailable. They were back a week later, but it makes me a bit nervous.

I have a cat who is a garbage disposal, will eat anything, but for some reason turns his nose up at these when offered them as a treat (I assume he’s expecting a greenie). However I’ve found great success in crumbling it and including it in his dry food. There is a NOTICEABLE difference, he is no longer being referred to as Mr Poopy and creating biological warfare in the litterbox. It’s to the point where you can tell if one of his designated food bringers has forgotten to give him one that day. I’m happy to put in a little bit extra work to make his life a little better.

I wanted a probiotic for my cat. a “healthy” treat seemed like the way to go! She’s fussy with treats at the best of times and wouldn’t readily eat this by itself so I’ve been breaking it into her breakfast and she’ll readily eat it in that form. I believe it has helped firm her stool.

These are by far the best price for cat probiotics anywhere that I could find, plus they are flavoured so my cats like to eat it.Before this, I tried Fortiflora chicken flavoured probiotics that my vet sells and although my cat loved the taste of that chicken powder sprinkled over her food, it was just way too expensive for me! It was like 30 something dollars for only 10 packets of those, and less than 10 bucks for 60 of these!My cat who is on antibiotics and probiotics right now, is usually a very picky eater and she will eat these as a treat sometimes, and other times she refuses to, but I just crumble it up and mix it in with her food, which works great.
