About Omega One
In 1998 in Sitka, Alaska, two brothers invented and patented the process of making fish foods directly from wild-caught, fresh Alaskan seafood. Omega One LLC, the company, was founded, and Omega One, the brand, was introduced. This revolutionary concept broke the mold in a 40-year industry, providing hobbyists with a brand of unsurpassed quality and nutrition. Unlike other fish foods on the market, you will see that there is no fishmeal in our foods. Instead, we use Alaskan seafood such as salmon, herring, and shrimp for our protein sources. These ingredients, rich in natural fats and proteins, are purchased direct from sustainable Alaskan fisheries.

From the Sea to the Shelf

THE INGREDIENTS MATTER
Omega One increases fish immunity. It is made directly from superfoods like salmon and herring, which are loaded with Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids. These essential fatty acids provide energy and strengthen the delicate fish immune system, leading to decreased rates of disease and mortality.

MEAL-FREE NUTRITION
Omega One fish foods are meal-free and made from the freshest cold-water proteins. When you start with raw, unprocessed proteins like we do and cook them just once, they naturally bind together creating an impenetrable bond, leaving your aquarium cleaner.

NATURAL COLOR ENHANCEMENT
Our ingredients contain a high level of naturally occurring pigments called beta-carotenes. With nearly a 100% transfer rate to the skin of ornamental fish, these beta-carotenes will restore the true colors of your fish, making them as vibrant as they are healthy.

Freshwater Flakes
Delicious recipe of fresh, cold water seafood blended specifically to enhance the levels of Omega 6 fatty acids. Omega 6 fatty acids are extremely valuable to freshwater species for strong immune systems and cell wall development. Low ash and higher quality proteins mean less pollution in the tank.

Super Color Cichlid Pellets – Floating
Small, medium, and large pellets for all types and sizes of cichlids. Offer superb color enhancement, with unsurpassed nutrition and palatability.

Garlic Marine Flakes
A nutritious mix of seafood ingredients is combined with the optimal amount of spirulina to make this an excellent diet for the community saltwater tank. A strong Omega 3 Fatty Acid profile supports the delicate immune systems of saltwater fish while garlic provides incredible palatability and parasite resistance.

Goldfish Flakes
Omega One Goldfish Flakes are formulated with higher levels of quality proteins and fats than other goldfish foods. This recipe contains a strong Omega Fatty Acid profile, which has been shown to be beneficial for growth and long-term health. Fresh ocean kelp provides critical nutrients and aids in digestion.

Nice Alternative Food But Messy
Fish seem to enjoy the worms. They come in the container in little cubes. The cubes float as they deteriorate into the water and as the fish pick at it. However, there seems to be a lot of “dust” if you will, tiny particulates from the freeze drying process that will cloud the water a bit. Also, the cubes are so bouyant they take a long time to actually break down so I tend to shake the cube in the water between my fingers to expedite the meal. Not an ideal delivery method. I would prefer them to come packaged like the freeze dried blood worms, all loose in the container. Props to Omega One for quality ingredients as always though.

Frogs eat it
I bought two dwarf frogs yesterday but the store didn’t have frog food. I ordered three different types off Amazon and this is the one they’re eating

Might be my goldfishes’ Favorite treat!
My goldfish love this treat! I have two fantail goldfish so I break the cube in half and press it to the wall at the waterline so they can work at it. I swear they recognize the container (I switch up their evening treats) because they splash around at the surface with anticipation when I pick up this container! LOL

I have 12 rummy nose and 6 pristella in that tank. The cube was pressed on the glass and 15 minutes later, still no takers. I know it’s supposed to be wonderful food, but bare in mind, it may take a while for the fish to get used to it I guess. I tapped on the cube to disperse the food. Fish started to finally eat it. Makes a big mess. Turn off the filter and set a timer for 30 minutes to remember to start the filter again.

My fish love this, though following the instructions, the cube won’t stay stuck to the wall long based on how vigorous my fish go for it.I have Harlequin Rasbora, guppies and Red Phantom Tetra. I’d use my tweezers to shake the cube apart in the water, so some bits drift down into the Tetra area and they go nuts for it.My Corydoras probably eat whatever drops to the bottom, but there isn’t much, so this really is for top to med level feeders

Arrived intact, full, in good condition. This is a great company with quality foods that I’ve fed my fish for years. This, and Repashy Superfoods, is all I’ll ever but for them. The fish love it, and they’re healthy.

My small fishes like them but I’ve seen my aquarium getting live worms after a week of this purchase…. I’m not sure if there was eggs in it and they hatched.. I don’t know.. I don’t know how to feel about this …
