So disappointing
I ordered 1 tank and when I received it the light and pump didn’t work I reached out to Amazon and wad told they would resend another tank they did and this one was also damaged I’ve had it running for 2 days and noticed this “pink” liquid on the lid I contacted Amazon and was told it’s not safe for the dwarf frogs I have in it and told to dispose of the tank you can clearly see I have nothing in the tank that would cause “pink”.
Close to what I ordered but white instead of blue when it was opened. Not as advertised, but close.. –

Great little aquarium!
A fantastic aquarium makes for a very happy goldfish. This tank fits nicely on the countertop in the kitchen. It’s is a joy to watch the fish swimming around in the new and larger tank.The filter is nice and quiet and the light is bright enough to make the fish look even better.

Not sure if it’s good
The aquarium itself looks good, neat. Unfortunately, our goldfish died overnight She lived with us for almost 2 years in a regular round aquarium, but she died in the new aquarium, we are very sad.😭 And in the new aquarium, such foam constantly collects when it works. Why? We did not wash the aquarium with any means, we just rinsed it well with water. I washed the filter as indicated in the instructions. And in my opinion, the light is very bright. And it seems a powerful pump. Maybe later we will try to import new fish, but I doubt the aquarium.

PUMP DOES NOT WORK
Zero stars if I could. My poor betta fish was excited to be in a bigger and better tank but after setting it up with the rocks at the bottom, a plant, a sunken ship and a leaf hammock… the pump didn’t work. Now I have to empty the tank that I just put together with water conditioner and everything to send it back. I will not be replacing it as I see in past reviews that this can be a common problem. Some people have had good luck but apparently I was not one of those people.

Decent mini tank, good for kids goldfish or similar purposes.
It’s a little noisy, as the hood kind of amplifies sound. I used a few well placed rubber strips and that solved that issue. the size is great for my kids room, the filter seems to work for the 1-2 fish we have gotten for it. Overall, it’s not a bad tank, but I do wish the lighting was a little more dynamic and had some functions. The white tank looks clean and it’s a cool look, and that’s where the tank does shine. It’s a got a nice modern look to it and works well enough for my kid to keep a few neons in it. I did buy a very low cost light fixture and upgraded the tank, and that really made a huge difference. Most starter kits like this people expect everything you need to be included, but I have yet to find a tank kit at any price that didn’t need some upgrades, so it’s hard to dock any stars for my personal choice to upgrade the lighting.

Neat little tank. Definitely quite. Just the right size and weight for my needs. Decor is on the way. Tank won’t stay bare. Great tank for someone starting out or one with lots of experience and just what something simple!

I wouldn’t recommend this tank for any purpose that involves water. The filter intake is way too far down so if you’re using substrate, gravel, sand, plants, this won’t work for you. The filter itself is a joke, it doesn’t efficiently filter anything and the media is the lowest quality you’ve ever seen, you’ll end up having to rig something to make it decent since the filter is fixed and you can’t just use a different one. There is no controlling the light at all, it’s either on or off, no timer, no dimmer, no colors. And it is so bright you’re guaranteed to get algae even if you turn it on for just a few hours a day, also stressing you fish when those super bright lights come on all of a sudden. It also has a built in jet that you can’t adjust either and it is way too aggressive on most small creatures you might want to keep, including plants and snails. My shrimp would just fly all over the tank with this thing, which btw doubles as the air intake but stops blowing in air constantly and you have to unplug the whole thing to reset it. Did I mention there are no controls for anything at all? Finally the glass is not as clear as they claim. It’s not bad, but definitely not the clearest out of all my tanks. Don’t buy.

So far so good except I added a small sponge because I don’t fine the internal filter very good. Also wish the lid was removable and the filter apparatus.

I bought two of these. One each for my kids to get a betta. One tank is working great so far, the other has already turned quite loud as it buzzes and the filter part vibrates. It’s only bet set up for 2 weeks.The filter must also not be working properly as the tank is super cloudy compared to our other.
