2 Years in, still does what I expect.
Amazon says I’ve had this for 2 years. I’m pretty sure the reason I picked this up was it was supposed to be quieter than what I had (old Marineland pump I think). It was. The feet on this at the time resist moving around and if you don’t have it on full flow it’s not loud. The output from just a bit off full flow is sufficient for a 12″ air bar. Long story short, it’s been 2 years and I’ve been happy with it, but have only been using one side.

Very quiet and reliable, but airflow is modest
This air pump lives up to the “ultra quiet” claim. In normal use it produces very little noise, especially compared to older or higher-output pumps. When placed on a soft surface or slightly elevated, it is barely noticeable, making it well suited for bedrooms, offices, or anywhere noise matters.Build quality is solid for the size, and it runs consistently without overheating. Air output is steady, but it is important to note that this is best suited for small aquariums, sponge filters, or light aeration needs. If you are trying to drive multiple air stones or deeper tanks, the airflow may feel underpowered.Overall, it does exactly what it’s designed to do: quiet, dependable aeration for smaller setups. I am docking one star only because buyers should be aware that silence comes at the cost of higher airflow. If you size it correctly for your tank, it performs very well.

Update! KAPUT!
I litterally just posted a rave review a few days ago because I realized it had been running 2 years but I noticed my tank was cloudy then noticed my filter wasn’t bubbling and one side wasn’t pumping air at all. I was hoping the line had just come loose but no. When I cut the line off to check for air flow there was none and then the pump started making a terrible noise. Luckily I am in the process of setting up a new tank and had a new pump handy. Do these not last more than 2 years? Google says they should last up to 10 years….Original review:I was just looking back because I’m setting up a new tank and need to buy a pump and thought it was noteworthy that I bought this pump 2 years ago and it’s been great. As I recall it might have been a little noisy with only one outlet used but I have 2 filters and I never hear it. Highly recommend.

Broke after 2 or 3 days of use, low air pressure
I purchased air pump because the current one I was using worked great but after a few years of use became noisy so purchased this as a back up for when current air pump stop working, also good to have a back up if your do not want your fish or plants to die. Recently my noise air pump finally went under and died. I swapped out and hooked up this air pump and sometime just after the weekend of use the air pumped died. It may have only lasted a day, maybe 2 days, i did not check up on it but then after three days i noticed that my plants were oddly struggling so i lifted up my reservoir bay and noticed no air bubbles where being produced, and realized the air pump no longer working. The air pump is very quite so did not notice when it broke but was only in use for three days and i guess the air pump is so quite because it was never working. But it did work three days ago and was very quite, i am just being mean because my seedlings of exotic fruit that i have growing that costed me a bit over $450 are now about to die because the roots are sitting in still water with no oxygen, GREAT, besides having to rush order a new air pump, went with a different more trusted brand in my eye because i purchased before and it lasted almost 6 years, not going to name brand because i am not here to hurt this company and swing there business elsewhere, i am not that person, as i to am a small business owner. And because i purchased this air pump as a back up I am unable to return it and as a back up i can not recommend because i am screw now but luckily live near amazon so my new air pump of a different more trusted brand should show up in a few hours luckily and this air pump has worked nor killed my seedlings yet so i still have a chance to save my $450 worth of seedlings. I am not impressed with this pump, broke in the first three days 3 DAYS OR LESS this is not a good first impression and i can not give you a review on the noise because of course it was quite it is not pumping air, it is still brand new and hopefully my girlfriend did not throw out the box yet, i am pretty sure i still have it but if you are the store that sold this to me and reading this i would appreciate a refund and i will send the airpump back if you pay for shipping as i said it is still brand new and broken
