I built this water garden/ gold fish pond in 2002. I have tried every brand from Laguna to Oasis and many more, Up until now Oasis was my go to brand but that has changed. Since this is a water garden it receives lots of vegetation trash in the pond. The surface area of the impeller cover is very large and will last for days before I even see a flow decrease. Easy to remove and clean good for another solid week at top performance. No other pump I have used performed like this. The price of under 50 bucks to the house I’ll change it out every year for that price but I have faith and easy three year pump with my pass experiences with other brands. For me this is the pump I have been hoping to find.I bought another one as a back up 4-29-24 the thing is a tank. I ran it dry twice and still performing well it looks like you can pull apart to get to the impeller to clean it. They will start to slow down with little fiber wrapping around impeller. I’m almost at a year and still functional. I think it has slowed down a little bit but not bad. I would like to see the back cap and front cap not as flimsy with a stiffer plastic. The impeller house was turned counterclockwise and came off very easy. The cap was removed and a very small metal shaft the the magnetic impeller spins on came out the had a neoprene nipple on the shaft. I was hoping to find fibrous vegetation around the impeller because I have noticed a slight slow down. The shaft had some burrs on it and I sanded it smooth. Other than that removed brown alagea residue and I Had waterproof silicone grease coated the metal rod and notice wear on the retaining cap that I removed so I coated that also. Reassembled the pump very easy no real tools required. I should of put the pump in a bucket to get any oil residue that spins off the shaft it wasn’t a lot but I will alway pre run before placing back in pond from now on. Did a water change just to be safe. My slow down was Debris build up inside the tubing. Pump was quit. I can see the shaft metal rod wearing out and it should of been made stainless steel. When this pump fails it will be due the severe wear on the shaft or the impeller fins break off the impeller.

Better than I expected. We bought this for our 10x 12 pond in our back yard. Works great , pumps faster then expected, way higher lift which impressed me. Doesn’t have auto shut off, great pressure , slick look, super quiet I forget its on. Only down fall is the cord is only about 5 feet wish that was longer for what I needed . But over all great product for my needs .

unfortunately ponic pumps by ZAHGO are no longer available anywhere so I tried this one. the threaded hose adapter snapped off at the base within minutes of connecting a hose to it. The adapters are super thin and require very gentle care when handling. The problem is, this is where you need it to be sturdy as you are lowering and lifting the pump by the hose/chord. Secondly the published volume was not achieved. This pump replaced a 800GPH ZAHGO pump and it performed at an estimated 70% efficiency of the pump it replaced in identical configuration. Thirdly the cord is 6′ long. What the heck. I had to use a short extension chord. Its like no thought went into the design of this pump with respect to durability and practicality. Another disappointment is the profile of the pump is much larger then than the better performing ZAHGO.The included photo illustrates the contrast in thickness of the adapter walls. The adapter on the left is a ZAHGO adapter (thick and sturdy), the one on the right is from the pump being reviewed (thin, frail and broken). Judge for yourselves.FYI: I purchased a NFESOLAR 1200 pump and the hose adapter is sturdy and the cord is 11′. Not sure how it performs yet but just based on those 2 points, I would recommend trying the NFESOLAR line of pumps as opposed to the Knifel line.

Great pump. Came with needed tubing adapters.
Works as intended. Love the different size nipples that came with it, depending on the size of tubing you have. There are some that complained about the rate of flow. You can adjust the flow on the side of the pump by turning a plate to limit the flow coming into the pump. If that’s not enough, you can add a cheap valve on the output to limit the flow more. Does a great job in my fountain.

Motor is great and love the incorporated sponge filter. Purchased this pump for my other fountain and was disappointed the one I just received didn’t have a “flow control” as my previous one did. Overall it’s a great fountain pump and love the auto-shut off when the fountain is dry.

Ich baue kleine Minaturbrunnen und bin hier stets auf der Siche nach gutem Zubehör. Die Pumpe ist für kleine Bis Mittelgroße Brunnen im Aussen und Innenberrich geeignet.Sie verfügt über drei Leistungsstufen, welche via Schalter an der Pumpe umgestellt werden können. Im angefügt Video sieht man die Pumpe auf kleinste Stufe in einem von mir gebauten Miniaturbrunnen. Laufruhe ist sehr gut und Leistung bleibt auch nach fast einem Jahr konstant. Gutes Produkt wo der Preis passt.
