Reliable, Quiet, and Packs a Punch for the Price
I don’t usually leave reviews, but this pump earned it.I bought the CWKJ 400GPH fountain pump for a small backyard water feature I was building from scratch. I wasn’t expecting much for the price, but this little workhorse blew me away.Setup was simple—plug-and-play right out of the box. It comes with a few different nozzles, which was great for getting just the right water effect I wanted. The suction cups hold tight, even in a deep ceramic bowl, and the pump stays perfectly in place without vibrating or shifting.What stood out most was how quiet it is. Once submerged, it’s virtually silent. You hear the water flowing, not the pump working—exactly how it should be. I’ve run it daily for several hours at a time, and it hasn’t overheated, clogged, or lost power.The flow rate adjustment knob is a nice touch. I turned it down slightly to keep the water from splashing outside the basin, and it responded instantly. The included power cord is long enough to reach a nearby outlet without using an extension.Only thing to be aware of: if you’re using tubing or trying to lift water up more than 5–6 feet, you’ll start to lose pressure. But for low-to-mid fountains, aquariums, hydroponics, or garden features, it’s perfect.After a few weeks of use, no signs of wear. I clean the intake once a week just to keep debris out, but other than that, this pump requires almost no maintenance.Bottom line: It’s powerful, quiet, affordable, and does exactly what it promises. If I ever build another fountain or need a second unit, I’ll be buying this same one again.Highly recommend.

A little loud….
The pump works okay but it is a little loud. If you turn the water pressure all the way up it drowns out the sound of the motor. Unfortunately, I purchased this for a fountain (see video) so I am limited as to how far I can turn it up. It did arrive faster than promised.

Complete trash, does not pump any water
Absolute garbage This should not have been made or sold. Connected the pump up per the instructions, needed to move 100% clean well water from a big storage tank to the outdoors, the pump just needed to lift up about a foot and a half and then after that it was all gravity feed downhill. It could not even pump more than this tiny stream of water out. Why do sellers pill stuff like this for sale on the internet it is complete garbage

The pump was used to circulate water heated in a stock tank then used as a church water baptismal. Worked well.

Worked well for two summers but now water is barely coming out one inch up from the pump and it makes a rattle noise. I opened it to clean it just in case but it did not help.
