very good
Installation is simple, just a few screws, and it only takes less than 10 minutes to assemble. The lighting is good, so you can see what the hamster is doing. You can also put things on top; it’s a great choice.

Very pretty, easy to assemble
Very pretty, easy to assemble, easy to clean quality is good plywood and plexiglass.The only reason I’m not giving it a five star is because I am going to have to add some more screws. Where the front glass attaches to the sides at the top it gaps apart when you unlatch the lid. The first day, my grandkids touched the front to reach in and pet our hamster, the plexiglass raised slightly out of the grooves at the bottom because of the gaps on the sides. This is why I need to add screws to that area. Also the latch locks on the sides are kind of flimsy. I feel like they need to be replaced because they feel like they would break easily.Another thing, one of the screws that goes through the plexiglass into the wood strip across the top front actually came out of the wooden part yesterday, and I had to glue it back together there. We’ve only had the enclosure for one week.I would still recommend this enclosure. But if I needed to replace it in the future, I would probably check around and see if some didn’t have the flaws that this one has that I feel like I need to fix.

Creative Design but Questionable Material Choices
The concept of this enclosure is appealing. The size is generous, and the openable top is convenient. However, mine arrived with a crack in the acrylic panel.The foil lining at the bottom is a thoughtful idea for easier cleaning, but since hamsters naturally chew, this may become a durability and odor concern over time. Additionally, wooden construction may not be ideal for animals that chew and can potentially escape. The design is interesting in theory, but alternative materials would improve longevity. I plan to repurpose it as a toy storage box instead.

Excellent hamster cage
This is a really nice wooden enclosure for small pets. The design gives them a lot more room to move around compared to typical cages, which I really like. The large open space makes it easy to add bedding, hideouts, wheels, and other accessories so you can create a comfortable habitat. It would work well for hamsters, gerbils, or other small rodents.The quality is also impressive. The pine wood feels sturdy and well finished with smooth edges, and the acrylic panels are thick and clear so you can easily see your pet from multiple angles. I also like that the bottom has a protective layer to help prevent moisture from soaking into the wood, which makes cleaning much easier.Ventilation is well thought out too, with slots and small holes that allow good airflow without making the cage feel too open. The flip up top lid is convenient for feeding, cleaning, and rearranging things inside the enclosure.Assembly was straightforward and didn’t take very long since most pieces slide into place and only a few screws are required.Overall this is a wellbdesigned, attractive habitat that gives small pets plenty of space while still looking nice in the home. A great option if you want something more spacious and visually appealing than a standard wire cage. Great value.

Decent enclosure for the price point
This is a well made cage that’s designed for maximum visibility. It’s a great size for 1 or possibly 2 hamsters. It’s easy to assemble and feels very sturdy. I do worry about the potential for it to smell bad because of the raw wood design. I would recommend using some kind of liner or sheet metal in the bottom to keep the urine from penetrating the wood. Overall I like the look and design and the price is right for the quality.
