Actually works!
My cat is super fluffy, normal brushes tend to not actually get down to the skin and she gets really flakey. This brush made her fur look SOOOO DAMN GOOD, the only downside I can see is you have to clean it out a lot cause it’s a bit small. But it’s worth it. My cat loveeessss it, easy to use once you get the angle down on how to hold it. 10/10 would buy again if they made a bigger one.

Long-haired cat approved and owner approved
My long-haired somali cat tolerates this brush better than the long-hair version of the furminator brush. It removes hair almost as quickly, with the only (very slight) disadvantage being that you have to constantly remove the hair from the blade because it’s pulling so much out and there’s no button to empty it. This doesn’t seem to tug as strongly as the furminator, and two days in a row I’ve been able to brush my cat for a solid 15 minutes with her purring happily. Furminator sessions would only last a couple minutes because it tugged so much and irritated her. I love that it’s much more compact than the furminator and also more lightweight—I don’t worry about dropping it and hurting my cat. I also love that it’s under $7 and has a classic wood design instead of tacky plastic! The compact shape of it makes it easier to reach areas without hurting my wrist as well.
