About Omega One
In 1998 in Sitka, Alaska, two brothers invented and patented the process of making fish foods directly from wild-caught, fresh Alaskan seafood. Omega One LLC, the company, was founded, and Omega One, the brand, was introduced. This revolutionary concept broke the mold in a 40-year industry, providing hobbyists with a brand of unsurpassed quality and nutrition. Unlike other fish foods on the market, you will see that there is no fishmeal in our foods. Instead, we use Alaskan seafood such as salmon, herring, and shrimp for our protein sources. These ingredients, rich in natural fats and proteins, are purchased direct from sustainable Alaskan fisheries.

From the Sea to the Shelf

THE INGREDIENTS MATTER
Omega One increases fish immunity. It is made directly from superfoods like salmon and herring, which are loaded with Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids. These essential fatty acids provide energy and strengthen the delicate fish immune system, leading to decreased rates of disease and mortality.

MEAL-FREE NUTRITION
Omega One fish foods are meal-free and made from the freshest cold-water proteins. When you start with raw, unprocessed proteins like we do and cook them just once, they naturally bind together creating an impenetrable bond, leaving your aquarium cleaner.

NATURAL COLOR ENHANCEMENT
Our ingredients contain a high level of naturally occurring pigments called beta-carotenes. With nearly a 100% transfer rate to the skin of ornamental fish, these beta-carotenes will restore the true colors of your fish, making them as vibrant as they are healthy.

Freshwater Flakes
Delicious recipe of fresh, cold water seafood blended specifically to enhance the levels of Omega 6 fatty acids. Omega 6 fatty acids are extremely valuable to freshwater species for strong immune systems and cell wall development. Low ash and higher quality proteins mean less pollution in the tank.

Super Color Cichlid Pellets – Floating
Small, medium, and large pellets for all types and sizes of cichlids. Offer superb color enhancement, with unsurpassed nutrition and palatability.

Garlic Marine Flakes
A nutritious mix of seafood ingredients is combined with the optimal amount of spirulina to make this an excellent diet for the community saltwater tank. A strong Omega 3 Fatty Acid profile supports the delicate immune systems of saltwater fish while garlic provides incredible palatability and parasite resistance.

Goldfish Flakes
Omega One Goldfish Flakes are formulated with higher levels of quality proteins and fats than other goldfish foods. This recipe contains a strong Omega Fatty Acid profile, which has been shown to be beneficial for growth and long-term health. Fresh ocean kelp provides critical nutrients and aids in digestion.

Helped an ailing Betta
Our Betta fish Kingston Zissou barely survived our nanny the fish sitter. She obviously did not change the water and filter enough. We came home to a Betta who was near death and had major fin rot. I got the water parameters up right away. Based on the reviews I saw bloodworms are great for boosting betta health and ordered these. Our Betta is slowly recovering. His fins haven’t grown back but he looks great and healthy again. I alternate days with him and feed this. Change his tank water twice weekly and make sure he gets lots of attention. He loves the taste. They seemed a little large for him but they soak up some water and he devours them.Don’t hesitate to purchase. These are high quality and unlike frozen these are easier to feed in small amounts.

A fantastic value and quality product
In trying a number of different brands of freeze dried bloodworms over the years for bettas; I’ve observed a significant variance in quality. For example, some containers are filled with more particulate matter than others and a few haven’t even shipped with silica gel packets inside to keep the food dry. I haven’t tried them all, but Omega One has been the best in my experience. Plenty of discernable “worm looking” food in the container making the 0.46oz container last a VERY long time. Frozen worms are best of course, but this product is in my opinion the best of the freeze dried variety.

Omega One Fish Food – Superior Product!
My goldfish, mystery snails, and bristlenose plecos get a varied diet consisting of kelp flakes, goldfish flakes, freeze dried bloodworms, freeze dried brine shrimp, veggie rounds, green seaweed, shelled frozen peas, and cucumber. All the products (except the peas and cucumbers) are Omega One brand! My tanks are happy and healthy, and my fish are all thriving. My oldest goldfish is about 6 years old, and I switched him exclusively to omega one about 2 years ago. No problems, and no clouding!

Good treat my Betta loves, but he ALWAYS get bloated after eating just ONE!
Maybe my Betta has a sensitive stomach, but even if I give him one worm a week (one small one), he immediately gets bloated. I’ve tried it on 3 separate (spaced out) occasions, and he ended up getting swim bladder after eating these every time (where he’s floating to the top).Maybe it’s just my Betta but I’m not going to repurchase. I understand these have a fantastic ingredient but for my Betta I don’t think it worked out!

all my aquarium life gives this 2 fins up
My Bettas, Guppies, shrimp and snails love these bloodworms! even the tiniest crumbs are gobbled up by small fry. In fact I often smash some so the smallest fish can eat these nutritious morsels. Great source of protein.

pond fish love these
I originally bought these for a betta fish but didn’t really care for them much. So when i got some white cloud minnows for pond decided to give these a try. I am not disappointed. I crush them a bit between my fingers and sprinkle on top of water. They dart to the surface and eat the big pieces while the dust slowly sinks and the fry then eat. Since i started feeding them this food 1 month ago they have had 2 large spawns and now I have a ton of fry in my outdoor pond. Only food I feed beyond what they find in the pond is this food from time to time which both big and small eat so long as i crush some of it to dust. Easy for small outdoor pond fish which makes me a happy customer for these.

Good for some situations, not all.
We are now using our first container of this product and I can see pros and cons. Fish like it and eat it up!Pros: cheap! Another pro would be that the worms are “loose” in the container, which is perfect for small aquariums, etc. where a frozen cube would be way too much food for the tank.Cons: The worms are “loose” in the container! Doesn’t work the best for our large community tank.

I think this is the favorite food of my betta fish! He looks so happy whenever I put these dried worms in his tank. His fins also look brighter after a month of feeding him these.

If a Big Mac were the same price per gram, you’d pay over $200 for it! Prepackaged fish food is always expensive, but I guess this is cheaper than at PetSmart. FIsh seem to gobble it up so, I suppose it ranks high for flavour.

One of my bettas absolutely loves it and will happily swim around after eating it, but my other betta wont even touch it and prefers pelletsSo it really depends on the tastes of your betta can’t really say every fish will like it, but for the price it cant really hurt to try and right now even after a month of feeding that one betta the container is still pretty full so will buy again maybe a few years later when its finished

I have a few different kinds of cichlids in my aquarium. I tried these as my local pet store is out of stock of the frozen bloodworms. All the fish love these and eat them very quickly. I have no problems with them changing the color of the water like other people have mentioned. I will keep buying them.
