About Omega One
In 1998 in Sitka, Alaska, two brothers invented and patented the process of making fish foods directly from wild-caught, fresh Alaskan seafood. Omega One LLC, the company, was founded, and Omega One, the brand, was introduced. This revolutionary concept broke the mold in a 40-year industry, providing hobbyists with a brand of unsurpassed quality and nutrition. Unlike other fish foods on the market, you will see that there is no fishmeal in our foods. Instead, we use Alaskan seafood such as salmon, herring, and shrimp for our protein sources. These ingredients, rich in natural fats and proteins, are purchased direct from sustainable Alaskan fisheries.

From the Sea to the Shelf

THE INGREDIENTS MATTER
Omega One increases fish immunity. It is made directly from superfoods like salmon and herring, which are loaded with Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids. These essential fatty acids provide energy and strengthen the delicate fish immune system, leading to decreased rates of disease and mortality.

MEAL-FREE NUTRITION
Omega One fish foods are meal-free and made from the freshest cold-water proteins. When you start with raw, unprocessed proteins like we do and cook them just once, they naturally bind together creating an impenetrable bond, leaving your aquarium cleaner.

NATURAL COLOR ENHANCEMENT
Our ingredients contain a high level of naturally occurring pigments called beta-carotenes. With nearly a 100% transfer rate to the skin of ornamental fish, these beta-carotenes will restore the true colors of your fish, making them as vibrant as they are healthy.

Freshwater Flakes
Delicious recipe of fresh, cold water seafood blended specifically to enhance the levels of Omega 6 fatty acids. Omega 6 fatty acids are extremely valuable to freshwater species for strong immune systems and cell wall development. Low ash and higher quality proteins mean less pollution in the tank.

Super Color Cichlid Pellets – Floating
Small, medium, and large pellets for all types and sizes of cichlids. Offer superb color enhancement, with unsurpassed nutrition and palatability.

Garlic Marine Flakes
A nutritious mix of seafood ingredients is combined with the optimal amount of spirulina to make this an excellent diet for the community saltwater tank. A strong Omega 3 Fatty Acid profile supports the delicate immune systems of saltwater fish while garlic provides incredible palatability and parasite resistance.

Goldfish Flakes
Omega One Goldfish Flakes are formulated with higher levels of quality proteins and fats than other goldfish foods. This recipe contains a strong Omega Fatty Acid profile, which has been shown to be beneficial for growth and long-term health. Fresh ocean kelp provides critical nutrients and aids in digestion.

Grows fish quickly, with great color and health!
Very high quality ingredients, complete nutrition for superior health and color, rapidly sinks, does not disintegrate or pollute tank. Good shelf life. No fussing with mixing and refrigerating. Fish love it and eat it quickly. Healthy fish! Clean tank! More enjoyment of the little guys with less work than the other high-end feed I’ve used in the past. The medium sized pellets have a better recipe than the large size pellets and they sink far better. I’ve grown goldfish to a foot long on this in only a 75 gallon tank. It’s a healthy choice. I’m grateful to have this available through Amazon; it’s so easy to get it when I need it thru them.

My Favorite Goldfish food. See pellet size picture below.
Great food that really does give them an energy boost. I have 2, 6 inch goldies: one Comet and one Veil Tail that were feeder fish rescues. I did not know when we got them they Goldfish (carp) grow huge and live to age 40 years! The secret in keeping them in a normal household pet aquarium is the water depth not the length of the tank. NO more than 18″ of water above their heads should keep them at about 6″ in size which is big but beautiful. Mine are only 3 years old. I will have to will them to my kids!I first bought New Life Spectrum food because it had garlic and garlic is good for fish. Garlic in NOT good for cats and mine drinks out of the aquarium when she can. I run a FilStar filter without charcoal with only filter media and Bio media because I like to keep things simple. The garlic smell of the New Life is terrible unless you like garlic smell. My house near the tank smelled like a pizza parlor or Chinese Buffet! This is great food, I really like it and so do they. The loved the New Spectrum more than this but they are gobbling this up too. The pellets are a 3mm size which is great for 6″ goldfish. The Tetra just got to be too small for them: it was like eating dust for them.

Oranda quadrupled in size over an 18-month period
I can only guess that the reason my oranda goldfish quadrupled in size over an 18-month period is due to this food. It’s mind boggling how large my fish has grown. I had two of the arandas, one which I lost during a recent electrical outage that lasted several days, but if you look at the pictures of the size of my new fish, which has two orange dots, next to the fish that has grown so large, you can see the comparison. My original oranda was nearly half the size of my new fish in the image when I got him. I highly recommend this food, I haven’t tasted it but the fish love it. It’s very functional as I can reach into the container and drop a few pieces in the tank twice a day. The cap on the container keeps its airtight to prevent moisture from spoiling it but yet makes the food easily accessible. The cost is definitely worth it. If you want your fish to grow, this is the food to use.

Worked well for my Goldfish
I used to use Tetra flakes but these are so much better. I have a fairly old fish. Almost 10 now. He was having problems with too much air in his system. I am pretty sure it was from his gulping air when eating the Flakes every day. Since I switched to these pellets he has not had a single issue with bloating and he looks soooo much healthier. His color is a much richer golden and it has evened out more on his scales. I wasn’t sure if these would be too large for it or not but they seem fine. They sink nicely, assuming it doesn’t woof them down immediately as happens to most of the pellets. The only issue I have seen with these is that my filter is clogging up a lot faster than it used to with the flakes. I have to keep an eye on it so it doesn’t get completely clogged and overflow. The fish seems to eat almost all of the pellets but apparently it doesn’t take many missed ones to dissolve and load up the filter.

4mm did not sink: Stop read my redux!
I purchased 2mm pellets by mistake but used them for test. Each and every pellet sank. My fish loved them, both small and large.Made the purchase of a 4mm pellet…They Do Not Sink. Almost all floated which leads me back to bloat and bladder issues.Small pellets nice strong fish odor, much less on the 4mm. Is there a difference in quality???Okay day three. I took some time to work with the 4mm pellet. Simply tossing them in gently greatly improved its sinksbility.I assume less air trapped on pellet allowing it to submerge.I give it 4 star.

Very Good Quality Goldfish Food, Polular With My Fish!
I have been feeding my goldfish this product for about 7 months now. My fish loves it, he eats up every bit. I love that there are no messy particles floating around mudding up the tank. The pellets stay compacted together for a good 30 minutes before they start to break apart and get messy, and my fish has consumed them long before that, unless he’s been overfed. My goldfish’s color did improve significantly since I started him on this food. His color had been very washed out and dull on a different brand of flakes, but within several weeks of eating this food, his orange color began to emerge and it has remained a very nice orange for the entire time I’ve been feeding him this product. From reading elsewhere on the web, I was assured that this was a solid, quality product, and based on the health and vitality of my fish, I agree. I do occasionally feed him spirulina as well as a supplement. I would recommend this product to anyone with goldfish. You will not be disappointed.

Yes
Fish adore this. Koi and goldfish both very much enjoyed this. Lasted a while. The right size for medium to large pond or indoor fish. Better than price at pet store.

Very healthy fish.
This beats flake food for goldfish in my opinion. They seem very vibrant, healthy and always looking for more. A good choice. Water always clear. Happy little fellows.

My goldfish love these pellets! They are the perfect size and sink to the bottom easily. If you are unsure what size to get, the medium is a good bet – both my big and small goldfish can eat it without issue. This is my third time purchasing them from Amazon and they always arrive as fresh packages (expiry date 3 years in the future), so rest assured you will not get stale product. Because the pellets are smaller, you have to be careful not to over-feed your fish, otherwise the pellets will sink and get stuck in the substrate until your next cleaning. Although my goldfish will usually sift through the substrate and vacuum up any leftovers anyway 🙂

My fish love these! I feed them these along with flakes and they gobble up all the pellets before going for the flakes so they must be pretty good. I’ve been feeding them this brand of pellets for a few years and both my fish are in great health. One goldfish is 7 years old and about 10″ long and he really goes crazy for these over any other food I’ve fed him.
