Stylish, Comfortable, and Worth Every Penny – Our Labs Love It!
We absolutely love the Furhaven Orthopedic Dog Bed for Large Dogs!! Not only is it super comfortable and supportive for our dogs’ joints, but it also looks great in our home. The color is exactly as pictured and complements our decor perfectly.The removable, washable cover is easy to take off and put back on and makes cleaning a breeze. The quality feels durable and long lasting. We usually have 2 large labs sharing it at the same time, and it still holds up beautifully without losing shape. Considering the comfort, design, and durability, this bed is excellent value for the money.It comes in a box fully assembled, just cut the bag open and watch it expand.The only small downside is that it’s not waterproof, so spills or accidents need to be cleaned promptly. Even so, all our dogs (4 of them) love it, we love it, and we highly recommend it for anyone looking for a stylish, high quality, and functional bed for large dogs!

Quality product – could not be happier
I labored over which bed to buy my 75-pound treeing walker coonhound. She’s nine and arthritis is starting to set in. I really wanted a bed this size (I got the XL), but I wanted it to have four inches of foam at the lowest point of the bed. I could only get more thickness if I went up a size (in any brand I found), and the next size up was enormous. I measured and could not figure out where I would put a bed that size!? I bit the bullet and bought this one because of the reviews. It was a good price and I figured if it didn’t work I wasn’t out too much. I could always buy two and stack them. However, this bed is the perfect size. I could definitely fit two dogs on this bed, there’s plenty of room for her to stretch out and have a friend on there. More importantly, the foam, even though it’s only 2.5 inches at the lowest point, it does not crush when her weight is distributed on it. She really looks like she finds comfort in the ends being curved up. It’s like she’s being cradled. Overall, she loves her new bed, and it is so neat and tidy looking, unlike many that just look like a blob on the floor. It is soft, the cover is easy to remove, and I think it’s going to last a long time. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Great bed, washable cover, soft but sturdy
I love this bed. We have a 70-75 lb long basset hound and I got the largest bed. Even when he stretches out on his side it’s still big. Love the raised sides- he loves to put his face there. We have beds for him in multiple rooms plus a kitchen cuz he keeps following us and it’s hard tile floor on an older doggo body,you know…so mama got him beds in many rooms. This one is cool,sturdy but soft,as advertised, orthopedic. Had it several months now,washed it several times, it holds up. Folding it back into the cover is a bit tricky so I make my hubby deal with it 😂 bed is fuzzy/soft on the outside,I dry it in the dryer and it comes out fine,not ruined like some other fuzzy things. Color held up too. Love it.

Great pillow dogs love
My dogs love this pillow. Bought it for our 130 lb Newfoundland, and there’s ample room for her to stretch out on it. It’s shipped compressed in a small box and took several days to expand completely. We are very pleased with the quality, and the fact that the cover removes easily for washing. Both dogs like it so much we just ordered another, one size smaller, for our German Shepherd. At this point we would definitely recommend this pillow.

So far so good
We’ve only had this bed for a couple weeks but so far so good!My dog will actually use this bed which is more than I can say for others we’ve tried out.She’s a 55ish lb GSD/Husky mix, around a year and a half old.She tends to prefer the floor (Even though she’s young I worry about her joint health longterm), likes to sleep in weird positions, and also loves to steal our pillows for naps.The sloped ends of this bed are perfect for that and the Jumbo size seems to be just enough space for her to stretch out and be comfy. The thickness of the foam is more than enough for her weight too.I don’t see this bed being SUPER durable longterm – she does dig at it before laying down and I’ve already noticed a (very small) hole. Keeping a blanket ontop she can mess up instead helps to mitigate but we’ll see.I do appreciate the option to purchase extra covers from the manufacturer, but wish they had more durable fabric options.If your pup isn’t a digger or chewer you should be fine.Can’t speak to how easy it is to clean since we haven’t tried washing it yet.Overall I’m pleased with the bed and the balance between price, size, and quality.

Quality is not there anymore.
This was my third purchase of this bed, of the exact same size and boy, they absolutely ruined what used to be the best in the last year. There has got to be something they did in the budget and quality department because it’s not the same anymore. Again, this was my third purchase but it wasn’t that the first 2 had been destroyed by the pups or became worn out. It’s just that I moved out of the US, without the dog bed, so when the price finally dropped by 20 bucks or so on Black Friday week, I thought it was worth paying 50 dollar shipping fee to Japan. It used to be THAT good. But what I received this time after 10 days of waiting is absolute garbage. The foam mattress won’t expand fully because of deep creases and a dip in the middle, raised ends aren’t “raised” at all. But the absolute red flag of all imo is the white dust from the mattress, that wanted to cling to my fingers and pants and everywhere, and using pet dryer didn’t eliminate them. Probably breathed them in hard when I was packing it back in the box to return. For the creases, I see that the same poor reviews left in the last few months. So I’m convinced they went down the cheap path and quality is no longer what used to be. Unfortunate.

This bed is really nicely made. The cover doesn’t show the hair too badly. I find that it vacuums great with my Dyson stick vacuum on low power. I have a 55 lb Shepherd-Husky and she absolutely loves this bed. The raised bolsters on the ends seem to be very comfortable to rest her head on. The foam seems to be a good quality and supports her well. I would definitely recommend this.

I love this bed for my 9 month old golden retriever, and she loves it too. It has an easily removable cover that is machine washable, that always comes up clean. This is the only bed I’ve bought that she hasn’t been able to pull the stuffing out of! The inner bed is thick foam and very comfy. I just wish they sold the covers separately so that when I’m washing the one it comes with, there was a spare to put on the bed while it dries.
