Help with drying wet paws
I’ve ordered this product before in another color and I also tried one from a different brand and I like these much better. The quality is better and the loops are closer together. It really helps a lot with drying the dog’s paws when they come in from the outdoors. They are just a little smaller than the measurements given. They lie flat and they stay in place for the most part, but they do move around just a little. The only problem I have found with them is that they’re advertised as having a strong backing that you can machine wash and dry, but the backing does rip apart and come off after you wash them a few times but they’re still very worth it.

Absorbent and Effective, but Edge Stitching Could Be Better
I’ve been using the Dog Door Mat for about 9 months now, and I really love it. It’s very absorbent and has made a big difference. My dogs used to track a lot of mud into the house from the backyard, but now it’s much less. I’ve washed it multiple times, and it’s still sturdy and holds up well.The only downside is that the stitching along the edges has started to come loose, which I wish were more durable. Overall, though, it’s a great mat and does what it’s meant to do.

Nice but not dog proof
It was really nice, soft, pretty! I loved it. However, we have 2 six month old Yorkie pups and they started tearing it apart the first day. Pulled out the stitching of the big paw, ripped 2 holes in the rug. I had to put it outside on my lanai porch.

Love these carpets!
I have several of these carpets that I have purchased over the years, and they are holding up beautifully with a household of several dogs. I have a variety of sizes and colors. They capture the dirt that shakes out easily and I just toss them into my washer. I have one of these carpets at each of my doorways and under the dog’s water bowl. The ones I bought two years still look great and don’t show any signs of breaking down, even after repeated washings. I let them air dry instead of putting them in the dryer, which I think helps them last longer.

Is it really machine washable? Not really
Purchased this rug in July of 2025. Seemed quite nice and liked the color. It does its job well. It traps dirt well. There is usually a lot of debris that I shake out. It does say that it is machine washable, but I will say that it is not really machine washable. I don’t wash this rug much, maybe once a month….maybe. Usually, just shaking it out is enough. But now, having used this rug for six months, I noticed there are cracks on the rubber backing of the rug. One can assume this is from the machine washing. As it does advertise that it is machine washable, it really isn’t. Not if you want to keep this rug for more than a year. To be clear after washing the rug I never dried it in the dryer, I would always hang it to dry, so the cracks in the rubber backing are most certainly from washing it.

Love with a caveat
I do love this rug, HOWEVER, it did stain/tint/miscolor my new wood floor. Realwood. I think I bought this just a little before we did a refinish of the room this rug is in. Either way, the floor was redone recently as it was sometime 2024; so this rug after at least several months I now see left slightly obvious orange/yellow tint the size of the rug. Not by the sun, though I know the sun discolors as well. There is a completely different rug in center of the room followed by a small 2-3” gap of open floor before this rug and this rug position is where the discoloring only is located. Maybe a tiny bit darker under that rug compared to the open floor too but it is basically nonexistent, not noticeable vs this rugs spot by the door.That said, I know a lot of people would be ticked off by this. I’m not happy about it but it is still a great rug and now I know to put something under it. It is what it is. I guess I’m not devastated because I have similar problems of unlatching wood in the next room. We had a patch put in where wood floor was missing connect with older looking wood floor so not a perfect match. Pff sadly we also have a much worse rug stain from previous owners in a bathroom so I can live with this. kind of learning to live with such things. Every floor type has issues with certain rugs.The rug is going right back where it was after I cleaning. I have other rugs similar to this and this is the only one that doesn’t move when the door opens! Good on its main role-staying put and catching dog pawsIt stays in place.Similar prices elsewhere but this product does the best so far of what I’ve tried.Absorbs well.Just the backing it too strong or too chemically to be safely on the floor.I attached a few photos trying to show the wood color change. Can’t tell as much in pics as can in person.Last pic compares this rug with a similar one. The one in my hand is this rug showing the difference in the bottom

This mat is just as described and looks exactly like the photo!It is thick, soft as hell #happyfeet and collects all dust, dirt and water just as it’s supposed to.I’ve had this mat for a week now and during that week it’s been raining and we’ve had a storm or two, but this new mat has been an utter blessing!It could not be easier to keep clean.10/10 from this happy homemaker.
