Connect the power cord and the pump cord to the controller(refer the photo of connection). Turn on the pump by connecting to the power;

The cord length from pump to controller is 6 FT, the cord length for power supply is 10ft;
Easy Installation and clean:
Unscrew the 4 screws and remove the pump chamber , pull the rotor out and use a brush to clean;

,FEED light on and the pump will be in FEED mode ,and the pump come back automatically after 10 minutes,

Powerful silent small pump
Excellent product as advertised. I am using the pump in a 15 gallon tank made by Innovative Marine. The tank came with a 130 gps pump which was very good but only average for water flow. This pump from Jerpet is outstanding and is totally powerful. On the lowest setting it moves twice the water than the pump included with the tank. The pump is small and fits perfectly. Totally silent and easy to control with the control that even comes with Velcro for access.

Poor QC, Cheap construction, and leaks.
There are many positive reviews from others, perhaps I got a bad unit.The seals between the hose fittings and the pump inlet/outlets just seem terribly designed, both from the perspective of the actual O-Rings and the sealing surfaces of the pump and fittings. There is barely any material on the inlet side for the O-ring to seal against. I found that consistently when tightening down the nut on the inlet fitting, it would basically squeeze the O-ring out of place rendering it completely useless. The outlet O-ring performed better but was still not ideal.After I was finally able to get the inlet to stop leaking with a lot of time, and silicone RTV, the main pump body seal was leaking!Taking apart the pump body I found that the O-ring for that seal seamed damaged and the sealing surface was scratched up as if the technician who built the pump was using a flathead screw driver to install the O-ring and gauged the sealing surfaces.I tried my best to seal the pump body and used more silicone. Eventually it seamed sealed enough but now the issue is the pump was sucking AIR while running now and was extremely loud because of all the bubbles it was pushing through the housing.

Versatile Pump and a Great Value
I purchased the 520GPH/20W version of this pump for a DIY filter setup that I was working on. While I had no specific expectations (these PWM-controlled DC magdrive pumps are fairly common and similar), I’ve been pleasantly surprised with its performance, especially for how little it cost.Though I didn’t complete my original filter project (thanks, ADD!), I’ve found excellent alternative uses for this pump. It’s become invaluable for draining tanks during water changes since my well pump lacks sufficient pressure for my Python water changer.While I haven’t measured the exact flow rate or head pressure, its performance seems to match the advertised specifications. It easily pushes water through 50′ of the Python’s 1/2″ hose at an impressive rate. The pump operates very quietly, and the variable speed settings provide genuinely different flow rates—from gentle trickle to powerful stream.My only complaint: the pump is extremely lightweight and doesn’t include suction cup feet (just small rubber domes). When used with an open output, it produces so much flow that it can tip itself over if not secured.Overall, it’s been reliable, quiet, and delivers as promised. I’ll definitely consider Jerepet pumps for future aquarium projects… even ones I might only half-finish!

Down grade from my original review below. After testing and looking over the pump, it was clear that the pump had been used before and was not new. So I plugged it in to see if it worked. Not surprised to find that the pump did not work, pumped for 10 seconds at a high rate and then down to almost nothing, even on full power. So carried out a return of the product.After a wait for the pump to be shipped to the UK, opened the box to find the hose connectors missing, pump was brand new and still wrapped up the pump did have a 90 degree inlet end that was not mentioned in the spec. I have no time to wait for a replacement to be sent back and another sent from the states. ordered a 1” hose connector so I can get the replacement pump running in my current sump for the aquarium.

Excellent pump. Quiet and good control. Be aware that you will lose some flow rate with tubing, gravity, etc., so if you’re looking for a full 800 GPH flow rate you might want to get a bigger model. Especially since you can turn down the flow rate.The pump’s control panel is also very useful for fine tuning the system. Worth the extra cost.Only down side is that it allows for water backflow when paused or turned off, so make sure your sump/reservoir can handle the extra water backing in beforehand. Other higher end pumps will prevent this
