Great alternative to a traditional cuttle bone.
My parakeets love this. They always make such a mess with a cuttle bone at the side of their cage, and it’s always slipping out of the holder as it shrinks. This kabob style one they all seem to enjoy just as much, and it doesn’t fall off, or make a big mess. We call it a win-win

Birds get noisy when they are bored.
For my daughter’s new pets. She received two parakeets and I remembered how they liked to be entertained with a variety of toys in their cages. I had parakeets growing up. My mother was a science teacher and in her day was able to have fish, birds and small animals in her classroom. Having a variety of toys in the bird cage kept their noise down.

Cute but dainty
My budgie completely destroyed one in an afternoon. All that’s left is the beads. Cuttlefish is not as dense as a cuttlebones. But she enjoyed it. Not something I would purchase again. But Amazon is always prompt and the price was reasonable. You don’t know unless you try. Not disappointed, just not impressed.

My birds enjoy this but the quality seems to be a little low seeing as how it hangs. I wish there was a better alternative. It seems pretty durable. I haven’t had any issues with any chipping or anything but the Bell is a bit of a safety hazard. It’s a good size for the birds it advertises for.

Great idea to get a bird to take to cuttlebone!
This is the only way I got my bird to start on cuttle bone abd start trimming back her beak, because it’s softer than other cuttle one, has a fun, softer texture , and it’s spelled within the context of a toy to motivate and give them a reason to interact with it . I’ll be buying more. The metal on it is very cheap it looks like a little thicker than artistic wire and made of aluminum. I had to take the bill off on the bottom because it’s the type of bell that a bird can get its beak or claws stuck in but I still highly recommend it, especially for those with a bird who doesn’t understand cuddle bone and mineral blocks. They need these things to trim back their beaks and I think their nails
