A good buy for your money!
Everyone who owns birds, even chickens, knows how expensive bird toys can be. These are a good buy! The mineral blocks are quite substantial and there are a lot of them, leading to a pretty long bird toy. I would say that these are a little big for a parakeet or small bird, but they are perfect for chickens or larger birds! The bells on the end are just an added bonus. The chewing toys are easy to install. You just tie them to a hook in your chicken coup or to a bar in your bird case. They last a pretty long time, even with consistent use. I’m happy with these!

Nice alternative to cuttle bone!
I cannot attest to the actual mineral content of this but it’s nice and there’s definitely a lot of white powder that comes off it. Taking the plastic off each individual block was super annoying and made a giant mess, but I appreciate they packaged it that way. It would have gotten all over everything if they hadn’t.I got this for my cockatiels and they are still getting used to it. They normally have cuttle bone but when I saw this was a calcium supplement I figured it could replace the cuttle bone this time. My female bird is insanely destructive and she goes thru the cuttle bone toys really fast. I thought that since this was so big and a different material it might last her longer. It’s definitely a good value for the price!I will update this review if I notice anything weird. So far my kids like it! They’ve only had it for a few days but they got over the new scary thing in their cage faster then normal so that’s a good sign. Hopefully they start using it soon. Birb pic for tax. My girls didn’t care for them.
My girls love all toys , treats and feed. They really didn’t care for this. They came up while I was hanging it up and getting it all set up , being nosey , but after 2 weeks as far as I can tell it’s not been touched at all. It’s minerals , so maybe my girls don’t require any additional minerals so they instinctively haven’t been drawn to it. It’s a cute addition to the hen house , was easy to hang. I wish they’d have liked it.

Multi-species calcium toy that holds up well in the coop
Story / Use Case:Hung these in our backyard chicken run to give the hens something to peck at. Bells add a bit of enrichment without being too loud.What I Like:- Mineral block helps provide supplemental calcium, especially for laying hens.- Bells attract curiosity and keep birds engaged longer.- Hanging is easy to attach to wire fencing or coop.- Suitable for a wide range of animals—not just birds.What I Dislike:- Blocks wear down faster if exposed to rain or constant moisture.- Each block is individually wrapped in plastic so take quite a bit of time to undo.Tips / Technical Notes:Keep the toy under cover to avoid weather exposure.Bottom Line:Useful calcium source and boredom breaker for coops, especially if sheltered from weather.

2 pack of 8 lava rocks and wood beads on a colorful string, great chicken chew toy.
This is a two pack of a string of lava stones and beads, 13″ long. The beads are wood, about the size of a marble, and all different colors. The rope that holds all this together is also colorful threads..Each string has 8 lava stones, about 2″ across in the shape of a flower. The problem is that each lava stone is wrapped in plastic. The seller says it is to keep them free from dust. It took me a long time to carefully remove this plastic.. which can be deadly to chickens. I had to use a scissors and a sheet rock knife. I liked the size of the toy, and hung one in my hens’ feeding run. I hung another outside where they take their lunch.. My chickens were a bit frightened by the new thing, but they got over that. They did not exactly start pecking at it, but they did move in close and look at it. Some chicken toys can be pretty pricey, but I thought this was reasonable, considering that you get two of these chew strings. Chickens need to grind their beaks, so I am glad they have this really nice toy to play with.

So far so good.
Each individual flower came wrapped. This is great for shipping but was a pain to get off, especially 8 times.One thing I noticed is that with normal toys, they have a clip that keeps them attached to the coop. This toy however, came with a string. I am hoping it stays in place and doesn’t come undone when the chickens start pecking at it.Overall, it was easy to install. I did tie it to the coop but if needed I’ll secure it with a binder clip if it doesn’t hold up to the chicken play. I can’t speak yet to the quality of the eggs produced with this new calcium treat but we’ll see.I would recommend this so far. I look forward to seeing reviews from other chicken handlers on this product.

Good chicken fun
My chickens love these and the added minerals help to ensure a nice eggshell which in turns helps not only my family but those who we share eggs woth. Its or fun to watch them play and use these as well taking fun stress relief

I got pecked by an over excited chicken trying to get to it
It took approximately 67 business years to get the plastic wrap off all of individual parts for this, but once I had it in their pen, the chickens lost their minds for it. I’m saving the other one for a while, so they don’t get bored of them.
