Favorite toy
My macaw loves to chew it and let it fall to the bottom of the cage, he never swallows it. This is my 3rd time buying it. It lasts a while and keeps him entertained while I’m away. It seems pretty safe to me.

Macaw destroyed beads in 1 day but likes the ropes. I added chain to it so he couldn’t bite thru the string holding it together.

I would’ve liked to give this product a 3.5 ⭐ but not able to…
The product arrived with no damage and on time.This toy is for my 12 y/o umbrella cockatoo, Mike the Lap Chicken. Mike has just gotten over a bacterial skin infection and feather feather-picking incident secondary to the infection. I’m glad to say that thanks to our vet, and having an extra $ set back (lots of it- birds are expensive! 🙄😏) he now is well and his feathers have grown back.But— he was grouchy as can be, and went through at least 2 toys a week. It looked like a pterodactyl or beaver lived in that cage! So, we decided to go with something different for him. He has non-looped rip toys he loves to throw around his cage, and he really likes this new toy.Most products have a negative side, and this item does also. Instead of having a small chain that items are secured to, this toy has a small cloth rope to hang it up with. Not a great idea if you have a large bird with a hooked beak! It would be toast in under five minutes. So, I to a chain left over from a prior bird toy and weaved it into a couple of the larger red ropes. It wouldn’t have been worth my time to disassemble it and replace the cotton rope that they used.It may not work over a long period, but for now- why “knot”? 😏 😁I’ll return later and update y’all if my idea worked. But if you have a large bird that likes to chew, you might want to go with a toy that has a chain instead of cheap cotton as a hanging rope. Another item is the small round wooden balls that are threaded on the same type of cotton rope; I’m sure they’ll end up on the bottom, so I plan on using any of the small wooden balls that are unbroken to make a toy for our sun conure Molly.Thanks!Doc LykinsMidlothian, VA

Good size
If you own a Macaw then you know toys with small wooden pieces will be destroyed in about 24 hours. This large parrot/macaw toy is really keeping our macaw engaged with the colorful rope and long length. And yes, every wooden bead was bitten off by the next day but that’s why I looked for a toy with a large volume of rope that would last for awhile. Our bird loves it!

My ducks love this!
My ducks love toys, and especially if the toy has strings. They love digging their beaks into this toy and pulling on it. It is very sturdy with fun colors and keeps them entertained.
