Great Light for Small Tanks – Worth the Money
I picked this up for my 10-gallon tank, and so far I’m really happy with it. Even though I haven’t had it long, the brightness is impressive and spreads evenly across the whole aquarium. The colors are vibrant without being harsh, and the different lighting options make my tank look lively throughout the day. The build quality also feels solid, especially for the price, and it gives the impression that it will hold up well over time.Setting it up was pretty straightforward, and the controls are easy to understand once you get used to them. I also appreciate having a remote-style setup that lets me adjust things without reaching behind the tank every time. For the value, it really does more than I expected, especially with how customizable the lighting is.If I had to point out a few downsides, the learning curve can be a little confusing at first, especially with all the modes. It also took me a moment to figure out the best settings for my tank’s look, and I wish some of the color transitions were a bit smoother. But once everything is set the way you like it, it works consistently and does exactly what you need.Overall, it’s a great combination of brightness, quality, and functionality. For the price, I think it’s a solid upgrade for anyone wanting more control over their tank lighting without spending a lot.

The light of my life!!
*Will update with a picture when everything is set up* This is not my first planted tank but largest so far. I wanted something I could set and forget. The infomercial that woke me up in the early 90s made me learn to expect this in the future. The instructions are easy to remember and understand. I wanted something like a living room night light so I was thrilled to learn that I could turn the specific blue light to only 20% which is incredibly bright for the 8pm-6am off time. You can change each block of time in the DIY options which is also incredible but im currently carpeting dwarf hair grass which needs at most a 16 hour on period for a dry grow. I left the DIY time periods the same but I was able to change the colors to mimic the psnw dusk til dawn colors. I’ve never had a light that I could adjust so finely. I also have two cats who love anything warm. they do try to lay on it however it’s uncomfortable for them and it never gets warm enough for them unlike the window sills.

Easier to program than most!
Relatively easy to program, the gradual change from night to day (and vice-versa) is very nice. I do wish the controller had a memory chip to save the settings – if it loses power, everything resets, including the time. Otherwise I would definitely recommend it.

50-60 PAR at 12 inches
Surprisingly nice light, a bit difficult to get used to the controls but I was able to get used to it, and is quite a bit easier. Now, PAR im getting at about 12 inches is 50-60, which is much better than I expected. The color reproduction is not the best, but for the price it’s really nice.Im quite pleased with the results.

Hard to program
Extremely hard to program. The light did not come with instructions for programming, but customer service sent me a link to find it online. I have tried on several occasions to program a 24-hour cycle and it never keeps the color settings.

Awesome light
I love this light. I was automatically impressed. Still learning how to program it, but it truly is an awesome light. Contemplating buying another one for the extra light for my plants
