This is the best cat scrathing post yet! As soon as my husband put this together, she ran over to it and wasn’t sure to hug it; or to scratch it. It is much wider,and taller than the others. It’s much better built than the ones I have bought from Amazon. I highly recommend this. The rope around it is sturdier the base and the attachment under it is superb!👍 Even the carpeting goes underneath it and the base doesn’t allow this tall wide cat scratcher to fall over no matter where you put it. It is worth the money and it is so easy to put together nothing’s falling apart when putting it together either. Really highly recommend this .👍👍👍 It’ll last longer than the other scratching posts lasted pretty much a year. My cat was on her own outside her first year. Now she’s home with us. Her wild side is released on the posts. Her stretching is definitely better now that she has this more suited scratching poste. She was lean and muscular and wired to run and fight when we got her now she enjoys tearing up the scratching posts. 👍👍👍

My cat instantly loved it!
Literally just put this together and Tazzybear is obsessed. We did sprinkle his meow a Juana (catnip) on it but he gets that all the time. He obviously loves the scratcher.Very sturdy. Seems to be well made, but time will tell with 5 cats in the house. Ordering 2 more now so they don’t fight over it. I love the taller height so he can fully stretch out. Maybe these will save our new couches!

Finally!
Finally, a scratching post that my cat will actually use!! I’ve tried numerous different scratching posts, but she wouldn’t even look twice at them and would immediately go to shredding my favorite chair. I’m talking cardboard, plastic, sisal, literally every option on the market. Sisal is the only thing she’s even remotely interested in, but the last one we got didn’t have a sturdy base so she wouldn’t use it because she would freak out when it would wobble. Thankfully, this one has a super wide and very sturdy base, so she can scratch her little heart out and it doesn’t wobble or threaten to fall over on top of her. It’s also super tall, so she can stretch out all the way and still can’t reach all the way to the top. She has been scratching like crazy and still hasn’t pulled any of the threads out or caused any noticeable damage whatsoever over the last few months. My favorite chair definitely recommends this scratching post, and Rosie and I do too!

Cute, tall, and my cat loves it!
I really like this post. The pink color is very cute, and the pink fabric is very soft. There is a pink-covered puck that I think is meant to add support in the middle of the scratching post itself, but it got in the way of my cat scratching, so I removed it and screwed the two scratching sections closer together. It seems just as stable and now, my cat uses it all the time! Very easy to assemble, too.

Best, no-frills scratching post
I think this is the best scratching post I’ve ever purchased at this or any other price point. It’s perfect. It’s tall, seems well-constructed, the post itself is solid (some posts seem like they’re about to snap in half), and the base is solid and quite heavy (your cat shouldn’t be able to pull this over). It doesn’t have any toys or extra stuff, but my cat has never been interested in those so that’s honestly a perk. Maybe the only downside is it really is quite a hefty post and takes up a fair bit of space. I’d love to buy another but I live in a 650 sq ft apartment and I think two of these would overwhelm my home lol. But otherwise, it’s great, and I wanted the heft. I’m tired of scratching posts that look like they’re made of two pieces of cardboard. This is the only scratching post I saw (at this price point at least) that included the height of its base; they know it’s a solid post and they can back that up with dimensions.And of course, photo to show it has my cat’s seal of approval as well. She was scratching it before I could even finish screwing it together (which was very easy but to be fair no easier than any other scratching post).I honestly don’t know why I’m raving about this to this extent, but I just got off the phone after convincing my mom to get one too so, now I guess I’m here to convince y’all.
