I really am pleased with this product. Despite reviews I read before purchasing, the suction cups work great. I stuck this light to the bottom side of my 29 gallon tank lid one time and it’s still there several weeks later with no signs of slippage. I bought this to increase the lumens when added to the OEM light for my planted tank and it was just what the doctor ordered. The additional features of having a timer, or switching to blue light which apparently has a blacklight effect which I suspect would be cool with glo fish and the dimmer function, were all an awesome bonus. The light is indeed submersible which is also cool because my lid is close to the water and wheny tank is completely full, the light does come below the waterline slightly. It was a terrific value at a fairly reasonable price and the product appears to be wellade and well designed. I highly recommend it. It does not put out quite as much light as the OEM tank lid light but I bought it merely to increase my lumens because my tank is 23″ tall and I wanted to make sure the smaller plants at the bottom were receiving enough light. The original light which is myain light is plenty bright but perhaps loses intensity towards the bottom of the tank. This additional light certainly solves that problem. It stuck right on and no instructions were needed to figure out the other features because it’s so easy to navigate the switch. The cord is a generous length as well. This is a great design, the product is well made and the features it offers are definitely a bonus!

Great light for a 10 gallon tank.
Great tank light that works well. Love that it can change 3 different color lighting and can also dim or make it brighter. The size i purchase was great for a 10 gallon. Any bigger you will need a larger light bar. Great price and looks great. Easy to use with the switch. It could be on a timer which is great.

Great fish tank light
This light works great as a replacement for my betta tank. Since I put this is and keep it on the blue light and white light algae growth has been at a minimum. Great light for the fish tank.

Bad suction cups, great light and value
Believe the reviews about the suction cups. My light arrived with the suction cups curled and they failed within minutes of sticking them to an acrylic tank. Maybe a glass tank would work better? I reduced a star because of this. I have the light just taped to the top lid and it works fine.BUT… the light is a great value and works as intended. Perfectly bright for my 5 gallon half moon shaped betta aquarium. Good mix of color options to make my glow pebbles shine bright. I would purchase it again.

Love it, best replacement light that I could find. Good price and love the timer settings on it. Makes it so I don’t forget to turn off the light before I go to bed. 100% will be buying again for another tank I picked up that didn’t have a light in it. Color options were nice being it is in a planted tank and helps with growth, Made my plants happy enough they flowered and had not done so before!

Works but not the best
I want to love this but the way the suction cup holders are made the light constantly falls in the water and I find it floating in the middle of the tank. The light is very bright so I put it on the lowest settings. The blue light is cool for glow tanks. I really just don’t like the design because it won’t stay in position.

Worked great and has great lighting from bright to soft . Many settings of color and brightness
