High quality product
We have two German Shepherds that have real “wolf” like instincts when it comes to food, meaning they can go without eating for a couple days at a time etc. if the food does not suit their fancy. This is the only food that they consistently eat when placed in front of them. Yes, it is pricey but in the long run like the saying goes you get what you pay for. I have no doubt this is high quality food. This fish type has a strong fish odor to it, so you know its the real deal and made with real fish. Would not hesitate to recommend this product.

I Think it’s a good product
Update 10/20 ordered beef again as he gave up on poultry & now I’m back to giving him a bowl or two every other day then poultry & now I’m giving up on just dry food by itself so back to mixing in real meat with dry food. His stools are still good so still great positive!Update – ordered the poultry vs the 3 previous beef. He Jumped on the first couple of bowls and once came to get me to put more in. Now after a quarter bag gone he’s back to his picky self again. I love the product as when he is eating it (either one) his stools are perfect texture and very little smell and he has much more energy. Can’t recommend this product enough & even for my spoiled brat it worked better then all other previous hard foods.Remi (5 yr old 85 lb Lab) had to be starving himself to eat hard dog food and I bought nearly everything out there and threw away some well known brands as he wouldn’t touch them. Ordered this and first bag was definitely a hit, second bag ok & halfway through third bag he’s back to starving himself before he eats. So I’m saying it’s probably my dog and not the product but I may check to see about another flavor as he just seems to get bored with same same everyday. I would recommend trying this product to any dog owner.

Cleaner, healthier ingredients than most other dry dog foods.
I really prefer to feed raw but not only is it expensive to feed raw, it’s time consuming and just plain difficult to manage at times (especially when camping). This is one of the best dry dog foods available for the cost. I currently have a 5 year old pug and a 1.5 year old blue heeler on this food. They both have nice coats, healthy weight , they are fed 2x a day the within the recommended amount for their weight.This food is only 60% actual animal protein if it were around 85%, I would rate it a 5. My dogs prefer the beef over fish one with 70% animal protein, they will eat fish great the first meal or 2 but after that they aren’t impressed. I try to avoid feeding my dogs unhealthy inflammatory oils like canola–read the ingredients, most dry dog foods contain inflammatory oils.My other pug is a 10 year old, he’s eats Orijen Senior which is also owned by the same company. Orijen is the only other brand with a grain free option within my budget though it does contain better ingredients, Acana doesn’t offer a senior grain free option. Acana also doesn’t offer a grain free small breed option.

I always feel bad having this delivered to the house since it is so heavy but I always forget dog food when I am out and it is so convenient to not have to think about it and keep it on subscription. My dog loves it and it is a good size kibble. He is a 70 pound adult husky. I prefer a grain free food and he had some issues with salmon. Would definitely recommend and always recommend subscribing to dog food delivery regularly so your best friend never goes hungry.

My dog’s gotten way better since I switched his food from Royal Canin to Acana. The quality is amazing, and he still loves it after almost four years. I totally recommend it.

Both of my shepherds are allergic to chicken and turkeyThis food is perfect for them!Not only does it not have turkey or chicken, it has all the nutrients my babies need. There coat is brighter and both have more energyBefore this food I had them on “Taste of the Wild Salmon”. They both enjoy the beef better
