Just as good as the more expensive brands
It’s about the same size, thickness, and weight as the more expensive ones I see at the chain pet stores and the discount stores, at a much lower price per scratching board.My cats rip this to shreds, but that’s what it’s for. It lasts about the same amount of time as the other brands, too.The included cardboard tray means you can turn the scratcher over when the cats destroy the first side, and get twice as much wear / fun / cardboard shreds on the carpet.

These are better than the name brand
These Amazon Basics corrugated cardboard scratching boards are a hit with my cat. They’re sturdy, affordable, and keep my cat happily scratching instead of the furniture. My cat uses them daily and even lounges on them. Simple, effective, and totally worth it—highly recommend! They don’t smell and are thick enough to take my cats constant scratching. We’ve had these for a month and they’re still holding up well. Don’t waste your money on name brand things when the Amazon basic is way cheaper and a perfect fit.

Fantastic choice with the size and quality
Excellent quality and I’ve never purchased a flat cat scratcher (it’s big). Sarah had them around the house and the cardboard shed all over place and was done with that. She loved all 4 that came in a pack and I’m much more happy. Great “bargain” and I can tell it will be sturdy. What are you waiting for? Get a 4 pack or more for your feline(s).

These scratchers are a solid win in my house. They’re sturdy, the texture is just right, and my cats went straight to them without any coaxing. I like that you get four in a pack, it makes it easy to rotate them or place them in different rooms so the cats always have an approved spot to scratch.They’re lightweight but surprisingly durable, and the size is perfect for both lounging and scratching. My furniture has definitely been safer since putting these out.I did take away a star since they do wear down a little faster than some of the pricier brands I’ve tried. Not a dealbreaker at all, especially for the value, but enough to keep it from being a full five star product.Overall, these are a great buy if you want an affordable, effective way to keep your cats happy and your furniture intact.

My cats love these.
These cardboard cat scratchers are loved and used daily by my two cats. We actually keep three scattered around the house. They last about 6 to 8 weeks before we flip the cardboard to get another 6 to 8 weeks from the other side. The boxes that hold the corrugated part are sturdy enough to have large cats lounging all over them day after day. I wish they came with little bags of catnip but we bought spray catnip to use instead. I don’t think we really need it but it’s fun to watch the cats love on it.

A Rug-Saving Solution That Cats Actually Use
These Amazon Basics Corrugated Cardboard Cat Scratchers are amazing! I was initially hesitant that my cat would simply ignore them, but once I placed them strategically around the house, they became an instant hit. I am now delighted to hear him clawing at the cardboard instead of tearing up my rugs!There was a slight learning curve, however, for hard floor surfaces. Once my cat figured out that he needed to stand on the scratcher while tugging at it with his claws, everything was fine. If he tried to use it without standing on it, the smooth cardboard bottom would simply scoot across our tile and hardwood floors.This is a great, effective product and a fantastic value with the 4-pack. Highly recommended for directing scratching behavior away from furniture.

Bought these to give my cat more scratching options.Tried showing him how to use these but he never took to it.so I just have them laying a round the house hoping he’ll use it.He prefers his sisal vertical scratch post. Maybe if they were able to lean sturdily vertical it might work.
