Cichlid digs it
Good product for a 4 inch Cichlid; I also crumbled them up and use them for guppies and tetras to supplement the red micro pellets from Hikari that I also use for the smaller fish.I have a Cichlid that likes to hide in his house when I try to feed him and I need a food that floats slowly and that’s in big enough chunks for him to get enough nutrition. Since I switched to this product, he has grown a lot and he really seems to like these. The larger sizes of the flakes give him a predatory opportunity. He pounce on the flakes as they slowly drift down.

These Fish Flakes are great! They smell great! My fish love them. And, they’re well worth the price.
My Plecos and Angel Fish LOVE this stuff. They all go crazy when we drop these Flakes into their tank. Each fish seems to have their favorite color which they go after. It even smells WAY better than the last Flake Food we were giving them. And, the Flakes are a very good size. Excellent product! Well worth it!

Disappointed in most of the flake sizes
8oz bag:1/4 of the flakes are large sizes and 1/4 are medium sizes. Half of the food is very small or powder. I reached the small/powder point less than halfway through the bag. (Now, they do tell you somewhere in the description about breaking, settling and powder. It must break a lot after it is sifted.The seller has many different flakes with many different descriptions. Read carefully to make sure that you are getting what you really need.I tried to return the flakes but could not return the product through Amazon (Amazon food rule). I contacted the seller who would take it but I had to pay the return shipping. I decided to use what I could instead.The fish liked it okay. Good colors. I have large cichlids in very large tanks. They don’t see the small stuff so it ends up in my filter leading to more frequent filter cleaning. Yuck! With at least 5oz of tiny flakes and powder left, I have to move on to something else that isn’t wasteful for me. You may find it acceptable if you have really small fish.
