What cat litter should I use?
We know that the litter box filters out clumping litter and retains it, so we recommend granular clumping litter rather than strips (strips or clumps won’t pass through the filter).
Why does the litter box make a mess inside after spinning?
Due to the type of litter, some cat litters are slow to clump, which can cause a mess if the litter box starts to spin. We recommend setting the cleanup time to 5-15 minutes after the cat comes out (you can set this in the mobile app).

Worth every penny, Clean, Quiet, Safe, and informative when used
Love this so far. It has been easy to keep clean. Both our cats are using it. We had to set the cleaning cycle with a 5 minute delay so the cats have a chance to get clear of it before it activates. That way it does not scare them. One of the cats would park itself to watch it go through the clean cycle. The app notifies you when they go. It records the weight each time so you know which cat just used it and how many times a day the unit is used. Our cats are average size so its sufficient for them. The bag is really easy to install. The bag is held in place with magnets built onto the mounting bar. Make sure you install the bag properly so as not to interfere with the closing of the bag cover. We have determined that it is best to empty after about 15 uses which you can show in the app. We went as long as 22 before changing with no problem, but I felt that was pushing it. We use high quality fast clumping liter. So far this has been easy for the machine to handle properly. There will be no urine leakage if you use a good fast clumping liter. As far as smell goes the unit does not have an oder. The only time I smelled anything was if you are nearby while the cat is going or when it’s time to remove the bag. Otherwise there is not odor. As far at noise when it operates, it is very low. You can hardly hear it operating. I have found that the cat drops a small portion of litter from its paws at the opening of the device. I simply vacuum it up with a small vacuum about once a week. You can brush it out as well. this keeps it clean where the edge of the drum rotates.What I like most over the some of the others is that there is NO DOOR. The unit operates like a rolling barrel and never closes. There is no danger of your cat being caught inside. Over the years these have come down in price. So we have found that it was extremely worth buying.

This thing is more trouble than it’s worth
We’ll start on the positive with the pros: when it works, it works really well. There’s no need to touch cat waste on a daily basis. The odor remover seems to work really well, also. The cons: it goes through a lot of litter. It seems that the sifting mechanism doesn’t seem to work that well and a lot of unused litter ends up in the waste bags. This means that you have to add litter to it every other day or so. It also means that the bag has to be emptied twice a week. Cleaning it is quite the process. Once a month, it is recommended to take the drum and clean it out. There are very limited instructions on this process, but you have to take it apart to do it right because the water and the litter gets stuck in all of the little nooks and crannies. Sometimes, it just decides that it’s not going to spin all the way around and then I’ll get a warning that the box is in an invalid position. Finally, the door for the area where the litter bag is is now popping open because the latch mechanism is worn. It is now January. We bought this in September. We got roughly 3 months and it is pretty labor-intensive versus a regular sifting litter box that you only have to attend to once a week. I think the concept is good, but the delivery just isn’t there. If you think you’re going to leave town for a week and not have to deal with this litter box, you will be disappointed. We are going to ask for a refund. Update: the door pops open all of the time even when the poop reservoir is empty. Asked for a refund.

I love this litterbox!
This litterbox is great, so smooth and silent. I hardly ever hear it running. My cats love it a had no trouble adapting. Its a bit of a pain to deep clean but a nice wipe down once a week goes a long way. It came assembled and doesnt way a ton. Easily manageable.

Cat Loves it
Overall – My cat loves it. He will sit there and use it and then wait to watch it clean it self to go back in and check it is all clean.The negative Ion system for odor control seems to work fine with as it is sitting in an office and I rarely notice any smell.The IFTTT with my smart home app does display usage etc but a lot of the options have no explanation on how they can be adjusted to affect changes.The noise level overall isn’t an issue but it is in an office not the bedroom etc. The negative Ion system has a very slight whine as well.Downside -Trying to keep the walls clean because of how it roles everything to the top is a hassle. I wish they would have built a way to open it up to make cleaning inside easierThe Plastic Step part that attaches to the entrance comes off if the cat pushes against it while getting in…then it can end up in the waste trap so i don’t use it
