Desperately seeking improvement
Cute tank, wish the lid attached better instead of just sitting on top. The led light is a nice touch. The black background is a sticker you need to apply yourself. Sadly my fish passed when I put them in this tank. Not sure if it was the tank or just his time but nevertheless was a bummer.

Look Elsewhere
Two stars because the light works and you could, technically, fill this with water and add a fish. There are numerous issues here. The light simply sits on top of the tank so easily displaced, knocked loose. The black background is simply a sticker and not waterproof so that begs the question how good are you at keeping one side of the outside of the tank completely dry when cleaning the water which you need to do to have a healthy fish? I see no way to add filtration without having the top of the tank canted which, again, if you want to have your fish to have oxygen you need to have unless there are zombie bettas that don’t require 02, something that I’m unaware of existing in nature. The black pad for the bottom outside of the tank does not actually fit the bottom of the tank. Once you added decoration and filtration this poor betta better like staying in one place because it would have no room to swim. I was so excited to receive this and brutally disappointed with it after assembly.

Great compact size, yet roomy for my Beta.
Just the perfect size for my new beta fish! Love that I can display this tank on my dresser without it taking up too much room. It’s made of solid durable acrylic. I like the black background and LED lighting. I have been eyeing some tanks in the pet stores, but I found them to be too expensive, this was affordable and well made.I highly recommend!

Too Small for Any Fish — Not Safe for Bettas
Do NOT get this tank for any kind of fish. Despite what one reviewer claimed, this is far too small for a Betta. With the water bottle for scale, you can clearly see how tiny it really is—it would be abusive to keep a Betta in here.However, it can be useful for other purposes. You could use this tank to store aquatic plants, or maybe keep a cherry shrimp or two, but that’s the absolute limit.

Betta Fish Tank with LED Light
I was super excited to get this tank. Still, I was disappointed while researching how to prepare it for a fish. The gallon is a little less than a gallon, but based on my research, you should have a tank that holds at least 3 gallons, so I couldn’t in good faith use this, knowing that it wasn’t really a good tank for the fish. Small Acrylic Aquarium/Terrarium w/ Color Changing LED Light
This aquarium is made from a thin acrylic material. The lid is fully removable. There’s no locking mechanism. There’s a small opening in the center of the top lid that the included light can be set in. The aquarium itself is quite small.Given the particular design, small size, and thin, cheap build I would not be comfortable housing any live fish inside. I would personally describe this as more of a terrarium- more appropriate for small plants or perhaps as a display case.Once on, the battery operated LED light automatically begins rotating between RGB colors. To turn off, one must unscrew the light to loosen it enough so the batteries aren’t making contact with the contact spring. I did not receive any backdrop.Given the quality, materials, and comparable market options- I personally feel that upwards of $16 is a bit steep price wise.
