Magical — Cannot believe how well this works!
TLDR: Buy this. It’s magical. And it smells wonderful (limey). See pics — total time (stain to clean: 2 LITERAL minutes!)BIOKLEEN (Magical Witchcraft Potion): I’ve used this product for years (multiple critters in the home), never writing a review before this. Recently, Thing One decided to start throwing up his food and I learned that food turn a bilious bright yellow when it comes back up. All my light colored carpets are where he prefers to throw up (not the hardwood floors). Thing Two is experiencing some kind of gastrointestinal disturbance and is leaving little piles of love outside the litter, again, on the light colored surfaces. Enter Magical Potion (BIOKLEEN). This will seem like an exaggeration — all I can say is try it for yourself.LITERALLY, I sweep/vacuum up whatever has dried and can be removed. Then, I wet the stain with BIOKLEEN. The first time I got busy with laundry and forgot to return to scrub after spraying, and guess what? IT WAS GONE. The stain was LITERALLY GONE — no scrubbing, no panting, no cursing, no hoping. This stuff literally ate it up! I was astonished and it was too late to take a pic. So this time, I’ve shared the TWO MINUTE process in pictures. From stain to gone (one minute 56 seconds). I did use that siliconey scrubbie looking thing, but it wasn’t necessary. Magical.One Caveat: I got overexcited one time and poured the liquid from the jug (instead of spraying). I would not advise this on carpets. It worked spectacularly to remove the stain (again, no scrubbing) BUT, I think it became OVER-SOAKED and when it dried, the carpet (a large 10×12 ft) was ever so slightly bumpy in the surrounding area, as though some fibers stretched out or shrunk during/after the soaking. Sort of like when you get sisal or jute wet and then it never lays flat again).So — long/short: Buy it, use it, SPRAY it (don’t jug-it), and love it. 🙂

Good for chemical sensitivities, awful spray bottle.
Good but not perfect. I used this as a pre-spray for a carpet cleaner (Bissell Big Green) and not through the machine. I deal with multiple chemical sensitivities, so I needed something that would wash all the way out.For chemical sensitivity, it’s quite good. Note that it does have Benzisothiazolinone which some people react poorly to, but it does wash out with water very easily, so even for someone sensitive to it, if you’re going to hit it with a ton of water after it sits, it’s generally fine. Otherwise, it’s about the safest cleaner I can think of.The smell is massively overwhelming but it’s actual lime, not anything that attaches to an oil to glue onto carpet fibers like you get in conventional cleaners, so once it’s rinsed, it’s gone. Still, nearly removed a star on this because they could pull about 70% off of that smell and it’d still be strong.The spray bottle SUCKS. Other reviewers are not joking. By the time I pulled the spray trigger 10 times, it was dripping down and soaking my hand. Waste of product, huge pain to use. If I use it again, I’ll buy a spray bottle and just use the refill jug of this.For effectiveness, I’m kind of mixed. It does do very well removing stains, it is an enzymatic cleaner, but I’m cleaning a rental with old dog pee dried into the carpet pad and while it got the room fresh, if I were to lay on the carpet and sniff the floor, I’d smell some funk still. I’d call it 90% effective. But for something that doesn’t bug MCS, that’s pretty hard to beat. Far more effective on pet stuff than non-enzymatic cleaners (vinegar, alcohol, etc.)If I had to do it again, I might give odoban a try, but overall, this definitely gets added to my permanent cleaner collection, as long as I’m rinsing with water after to get that lime smell down (it smells terrific, but too much of a good thing ya know)

The BEST product for stink removal!!
I’ve used Bac-Out for years, and it’s the BEST – as long as you know how to use it. First of all, it only works on ORGANIC messes. It won’t work on petroleum or chemical based messes. It works great on all the gross bodily fluids (human or animal) like poop, pee, puke, and even “death juice”. Ugh! Second – the reason it works is because of micro-organisms that completely DIGEST the mess — not just cover it up with scent. The micro-organisms in Bac-Out need to be kept alive!! So, make sure you store it properly so the good little buggers don’t freeze or bake. Don’t treat the mess with chemicals (like bleach) before or while using Bac-Out because chemicals could kill the good micro-organisms. Third – it takes a while for the good little buggers to digest all that stuff. So you have to let them stay alive long enough to completely digest the yucky stuff. You should keep spraying it on the area so that it remains wet at all times for AT LEAST 24 hours – longer for grosser messes. If they dry out, the good little buggers will die!I have used this with great success on mold, mildew, baby diapers, pet messes and many other things. But the thing that PROVED to me that Bac-Out is the best is this: (spoiler alert: this is totally GROSS!) An aquaintance of mine (for reasons I STILL can NOT fathom) was storing the remains of his dead dog in a cooler, until he could find a suitable place to bury the dog. God knows why, but the dead dog was in the cooler for years. Ewww!!!!! I told you it was gross! Well, when transporting the cooler, some of the “death juice” leaked out of the cooler and into the carpeting of his car. The whole car reeked of death. It was unbearable. He told me he was going to sell or trash the car. I told him about Bac-Out, and exactly how to use it. He sprayed it on numerous times a day, so that it never dried out, for many days. He was absolutely SHOCKED that it totally worked! The smell was COMPLETELY GONE!! Sorry for such a disgusting story, but it really shows how great a product this is!

Buying in bulk is great value for money I have been using for a few months and it is still almost full. It is the same product as the smaller bottles, it smells the same (unscented) but also smells great. It is definitely effective at stain removal. The bottle is resilient and it is easy to use, i use the lid to measure for each wash. I also used it clean my carpet with my carpet washer and it was great for that too. Thanks for the great product.

I never thought I’d find something to get the smell of cat pee out of my leather couch. Totally worth the money. I was nervous because our couches were expensive but I will buy again and it smells good.

Used for cloth nappies and eliminating ammonia that wasn’t washing out of the night-time ones. Seems to be working well. Much easier to use with the spray head, doesn’t seem to foam though but not an issue for me.

This stuff is amazing. I have a hallway that was targeted by both my cats and dogs. I tried everything to get rid of the smell. Spent an absolute fortune. I saw this, although I did think it pricey, I thought why not. Best decision ever made. I put it in a spray bottle and sprayed it neat on the floor. Saturated it. Left it sit for a bit then blotted it with a damp mop. Sprayed it again for good measure and just left it this time. I’m absolutely delighted to say that the foosty, dirty, peepee smell is gone. I no longer want to gag and cry simultaneously anymore. Beyond happy.
