Great Bedding
This bedding is really soft and more compressed than other brands I have purchased in the past. It doesn’t have any weird smells and is so soft when it is fluffed up. I also love how thick it is when placed in the cage, allowing my gerbils to make some really nice tunnels. While it isn’t as cheap as what I can get at the pet store, the quality is much higher and does seem to absorb pee better. I just wish it came in a larger bag. Overall, though, it is worth it with how well it works!

Genuinely perfect. The color is just as vibrant in person which is nice if you value aesthetics. More importantly for your little one’s health, it has no dust, the package is dense and will provide about 3 1/2 inches of substrate. Hamsters need about 6 inches to burrow so buying two will be in your best interest. It holds a sturdy burrow and yet still soft enough to be safe for your little one

Works great. Love the colors, they hold the smell pretty decent. Hamster loves it he has more tunnels than in any other so far. It’s as soft as any other one. It lasts quite a while also.

Great Bedding for my hamster
This bedding is SO fun. I usually stick with white for my hamsters, but went with the blue this time. It looks so fun! It is not dusty at all. It reminds me more of tissue paper than cotton balls, but is still soft. I did notice a smell, but nothing overwhelming and not a bad smell. I couldn’t put my finger on what kind of smell it was, but I did not feel like it was strong or offensive to me or my hamster. I have the large bucatstate 3.0 cage so one bag was perfect for a top layer to decorate. I use platforms with nine inch legs so that my hamsters have deep bedding to burrow and enjoy and this bedding added festivity and fun all around the enrichment. This bedding was a great addition to our hamster’s cage and I recommend this brand. I have really enjoyed all the Bucatstate items I have bought for our hamsters, and we have bought many.

So Soft It’s Like a Cloud — Expands Like Crazy to Fill the Cage!
This white paper bedding is AMAZING. Super soft, crazy fluffy once it expands (seriously, it grows like a magic trick 😂), and it keeps everything cozy and clean. I use it for my bunnies, guinea pigs, hamster, and even my ferret — and they all love burrowing and nesting in it. One bag goes a long way, I liked it so much I already bought more. If you want soft, absorbent, and worth every penny… this is it.

Smells Like Chemicals – Made Me Sick, Not Safe for Pets
I regret buying this hamster bedding. As soon as I opened the bag, there was a strong chemical smell. After spreading it out, the odor only got worse that it made me nauseous, dizzy, and even gave me a headache. The texture is also disappointing: the paper material is rough and coarse, nothing like the soft, fluffy bedding from other brands. Honestly, putting your hamster in this would be like making someone live in a house full of formaldehyde. I ended up throwing the entire pack away. Considering this costs about twice as much as other brands, it’s absolutely not worth it!

Very nice! Here’s my review
I chose the color confetti (white, pink, and blue) from their total of 4 options, they come in sizes 20L and 50L (for the colored bedding options) which makes them the perfect size if you’re looking for a bedding topper to add a splash of color into your setup 🙌•This is the most dust-free bedding I’ve tried to date, and if you’re anything like me, finding a low dust bedding is very important to me as I want to minimize the risk of any respiratory issues with my beloved hams•I’ll be honest, I was expecting the texture to be hard with larger pieces like some other colored bedding options out there, but I was surprised to find the texture very similar to types of bedding that many of us use as our main bedding, soft with smaller pieces, perfect to hold burrows. With that being said, I would not personally use this as my main bedding simply because of how small the bags are along with the price. However if you are able too this would make an amazing main bedding and in my opinion it makes an even more amazing topper 🩷🐹

First time trying bedding from Bucastate and it was an overall positive experience. I did make a mistake in only buying one 15L bag, so, I goofed on that as it did not even come close to what I need for the Bucastate 3.0 cage lol. It did expand and fluffed out well with minimal to zero dust which is preferred, great for people and pets with sensitivities. The texture is soft and had no crispy feeling, I’m pretty sure my hamster thought so as well, she seemed content and got busy making her nest right away, followed by a nice nap and managed to cover herself right up with it. She isn’t much of a burrower so it’s hard to say how a burrow would hold up (and if I ordered the proper amount of bags, I’d be able to know for sure). I liked the colour too, I usually stick to white as it makes spot cleaning easy, this was still nice though! I don’t know if my hammie cares for colours or not, it gave her set-up a nice asethic appeal and made it feel like a fancy cage lol.The cost for this bag is a little more than what I’d typically spend, especially since I use up to 200L of bedding. However, I’m not replacing the entirety of it often and the quality of the bedding is better than others I’ve used, I wouldn’t mind spending the extra few dollars.

This animal paper bedding is really nice to use. It has no odor and is very fluffy and soft. My golden hamster especially loves building nests in it. I chose this bedding mainly because it’s made with natural materials, has no additives, and is FSC certified, so it feels very safe to use. The odor control works well too, and I’ve noticed I don’t need to change the bedding as often. There are also many color options. Overall, it’s a great product and definitely worth repurchasing.
