Great Bedding
This bedding is really soft and more compressed than other brands I have purchased in the past. It doesn’t have any weird smells and is so soft when it is fluffed up. I also love how thick it is when placed in the cage, allowing my gerbils to make some really nice tunnels. While it isn’t as cheap as what I can get at the pet store, the quality is much higher and does seem to absorb pee better. I just wish it came in a larger bag. Overall, though, it is worth it with how well it works!

Perfect for my hammy!
Genuinely perfect. The color is just as vibrant in person which is nice if you value aesthetics. More importantly for your little one’s health, it has no dust, the package is dense and will provide about 3 1/2 inches of substrate. Hamsters need about 6 inches to burrow so buying two will be in your best interest. It holds a sturdy burrow and yet still soft enough to be safe for your little one

Cute colors and soft bedding
Very soft and pretty bedding. My mouse has no trouble burrowing in it. The odor control and absorbency aren’t very good, but with paper bedding you should be mixing in aspen anyway.

Great Bedding for my hamster
This bedding is SO fun. I usually stick with white for my hamsters, but went with the blue this time. It looks so fun! It is not dusty at all. It reminds me more of tissue paper than cotton balls, but is still soft. I did notice a smell, but nothing overwhelming and not a bad smell. I couldn’t put my finger on what kind of smell it was, but I did not feel like it was strong or offensive to me or my hamster. I have the large bucatstate 3.0 cage so one bag was perfect for a top layer to decorate. I use platforms with nine inch legs so that my hamsters have deep bedding to burrow and enjoy and this bedding added festivity and fun all around the enrichment. This bedding was a great addition to our hamster’s cage and I recommend this brand. I have really enjoyed all the Bucatstate items I have bought for our hamsters, and we have bought many.

So Soft It’s Like a Cloud — Expands Like Crazy to Fill the Cage!
This white paper bedding is AMAZING. Super soft, crazy fluffy once it expands (seriously, it grows like a magic trick 😂), and it keeps everything cozy and clean. I use it for my bunnies, guinea pigs, hamster, and even my ferret — and they all love burrowing and nesting in it. One bag goes a long way, I liked it so much I already bought more. If you want soft, absorbent, and worth every penny… this is it.

Not very comparable to carefresh
The spelling is cute and worked well for my guinea pigs travel cage. I needed something fun and cute for an event. It is not however comparable to CareFresh brand. This is much lighter and more like tissue paper. A slight breeze will blow this right out of the cage and all over the floor. I can’t speak as well to absorbency as I really needed it just for a single day. When I returned home I mixed it with their standard CareFresh bedding. This could work well as a mix with CareFresh to cut down on cost.

Not worth purchasing if you are trying to make kennel smell nice
Unfortunately, it made my rabbits kennel smell worst just the next day after cleaning out and using it for the first time. Dont plan to ever use this again

Excellent bedding – it’s super soft and fluffy (it comes very compacted so you have to scrunch it all apart with your hands to fluff it) and my hamster loves burrowing right in and making tunnels. I find the bedding material helps keep things fresh smelling in the cage for longer than some others I’ve tried, cutting down on the ammonia buildup after a few days. It’s also true that it’s pretty much dust free, and it absorbs moisture well enough that wet spots dry up quick and clump a little which makes spot cleaning easier – although he does use his sandbox as a “litter box”, he does sometimes pee in the bedding so being able to just remove those areas makes it so much easier.The 15L size is admittedly not enough for anything really, proper hamster enclosures require about 200L, but I treated it as a “sample size” and mixed it in with a much larger bag of the same brand, just a different colour. I also put some of it to put in his little travel crate that I use for when I change his enclosure or have to go away for the weekend.

This animal paper bedding is really nice to use. It has no odor and is very fluffy and soft. My golden hamster especially loves building nests in it. I chose this bedding mainly because it’s made with natural materials, has no additives, and is FSC certified, so it feels very safe to use. The odor control works well too, and I’ve noticed I don’t need to change the bedding as often. There are also many color options. Overall, it’s a great product and definitely worth repurchasing.
