From Couch Potato to Cat-Fu Master
Meet Luna, my previously-unmotivated house panther. Scratching post aficionado? Check. Countertop connoisseur? Absolutely. Master of the “stare until you feed me” technique? Grand champion. But when it came to anything resembling actual activity, Luna was more of a furry floor ornament. Enter the CAT SCHOOL Clicker Training Kit, my weapon of choice in Operation: Motivated Meow-Meow.The Kit:- Clicker: Sleek blue and satisfyingly clicky, it quickly became Luna’s Pavlovian dinner bell.- Target Stick: Retractable and topped with an irresistible feathery tip, it was basically catnip on a stick.- Instruction Booklet: Clear, concise, and filled with adorable illustrations, it made even a clicker training newbie like me feel like I could whip Luna into shape (figuratively, of course).Training Tails:- Luna was clicker-curious from the get-go. That distinct sound had her ears perked and whiskers twitching, eager to figure out how to make the magic treat dispenser go off.- The target stick was pure genius. Luna’s inner hunter instincts kicked in, transforming her into a feathery-tip-chasing ninja. This made teaching basic commands like “come” and “sit” a total breeze.- The booklet was our training bible. Step-by-step instructions, positive reinforcement tips, and even troubleshooting advice – it had everything we needed to become a clicker-training dream team. From Zero to Meow-gician:Within a week, Luna went from couch potato to mini-meow-gician. “High five”? Nailed it. “Sit”? Like a furry Buddha. “Target”? Bullseye every time! Not only did our bond deepen, but Luna’s newfound focus and confidence were a joy to behold. Plus, those mischievous furniture-scratching days became a distant memory (praise the clicker gods!).Pros:- High-quality tools: The clicker and target stick felt sturdy and built to last, even through Luna’s most enthusiastic training sessions.- Clear instructions: The booklet made clicker training accessible and fun, even for someone who’s never trained a goldfish, let alone a cat.- Positive reinforcement: This method felt natural and effective, building trust and understanding between me and my furry friend.- Fun for both of us: Training turned into playtime, filled with purrs, feather chases, and treat-fueled celebrations.Cons:- Limited tricks in the booklet: While the basics were covered, some more advanced tricks or obstacle courses would be a welcome addition for seasoned trainers.Overall:The CAT SCHOOL Clicker Training Kit is a purrfect five-out-of-five-star investment for any cat owner looking to:- Strengthen their bond with their feline overlord.- Improve communication and understanding (because meows can only get you so far).- Unleash their cat’s inner circus star (prepare to be amazed by previously unknown talents).- Have a blast while doing it (seriously, watching Luna chase that feathery tip never gets old).Happy Clicking!

Target stick has a built in clicker! If you can train your dog, you can train your cat!
I shelled out the big bucks for this set of TWO clickers because one of the clickers has an extendable target stick. The target stick with clicker is the perfect tool for click training cats that have a tendency to maul you for treats. (As a general rule it’s not great to train your pets that your hand is a toy).We just adopted two slightly feral, but extremely smart stray cats. We have been very successful at diverting bad behavior like scratching on furniture by click training them. They LOVE Cat School. I click the clicker & they both come running. The think its a fun puzzle game that they are playing.I do not use negative training (like a squirt bottle or yelling) to punish my pets for bad behavior. Like children, animals remember the trauma more than the message. The little booklet & the free youtube videos that come with this set do a good job of showing you how to teach your animal using a target stick &/or a box clicker for positive reinforcement.FYI: I previously trained a border collie & horses, so it might take a human who has never closely trained another animal longer than the cat to figure out best practices of click training. But it takes our cats about 10 minutes to learn a new skill & a few days of random repetition to perfect it to 100%.

    Fun and Functional
I recently purchased the CAT SCHOOL Clicker Training Kit and have been quite pleased with the results so far. This comprehensive kit includes a target stick, a quiet clicker, and a detailed instruction booklet designed by an animal behaviorist. The tools are neatly packaged in a convenient drawstring bag, making it easy to carry around for training sessions. The target stick, with its extendable design and built-in clicker, has been instrumental in teaching my cats new tricks and guiding them through different positions. The clicker itself is quiet, which I appreciate as it doesn’t startle my cats during training sessions. I find the ring attachment particularly useful as it allows me to wear the clicker on my finger for easy access.Using this training kit has significantly improved my cats’ behavior by providing mental stimulation and reinforcing positive actions. I’ve noticed a reduction in stress levels for my pets, and our bond has grown stronger through the training process. While it hasn’t completely resolved issues like jumping, scratching, and biting, I’ve seen progress in other areas. One of my cats is deaf, which has posed some challenges in training him effectively. While it may not work as well for cats with hearing impairments in certain aspects, I still found value in using it for teaching general behaviors and tricks to all my cats. The customer service provided is commendable, with a 1-year return policy in place for any defective items. I appreciate their dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction and would not hesitate to reach out to them for assistance if needed.Overall, the CAT SCHOOL Clicker Training Kit has been a valuable tool in training my cats and enhancing our relationship. Despite some limitations with a deaf cat, I’ve had a positive experience with this kit and would recommend it to other cat owners looking to train their feline companions in a fun and rewarding way.

So Fun And Easy To Start The Training Process!
This is just what we have been looking for!!! I was so nervous to begin training our cats, but this takes away the uncertainty completely. The instructions start from scratch which is so helpful. Our cats are already learning to respond to commands I never thought possible! The cat school is super helpful to be apart of too and I recommend you join. Julie is so knowledgeable and really makes you feel connected to your cat and helps you as you encounter questions along the way. We can’t wait for our cats to learn more and continue our training!!!

Working on training my cat.Tried it when he was a kitten (5 months) but he wasn’t too interested AND he wasn’t making the connection so I put it away. Now he’s 9 months and he quickly figured out that sitting gets him a click and a treat.I had only trained him to sit and once he got a good hang of it I decided to use the target stick clicker at a short distance.Right now I’m still just letting him touch it with his nose for a treat.I love how the target stick clicker has a louder sound so he can differentiate between the two.The booklet is fantastic with simple instructions that are straight to the point. Very easy to follow and understand.I also bought a separate training book By Stephani Mantilla which is also very simple yet informative and easy to read. She has online videos for each section which can be helpful for complete new cat parents.I highly recommend this kit. Everything is good quality.Go according to your cat’s interest and don’t try to force it.Teach only one trick at a time until your cat no longer needs the clicker to perform the trick. Only then do you move on. This will prevent your cat from getting frustrated with too much.Keep training sessions short but frequent. I think 5-10 minutes twice a day is a good sweet spot since cats can have short attention spans. With some patience and persistence and good timing I’m sure you’ll have your cat learning new tricks in no time.

I was apprehensive about buying this because it is expensive for what it is. I have a 7 month old maine coon kitten, and with the help and guidance of this kit, he now responds to his name, sits and lays down on command, turns in a circle and jumps over my arm. I did not think this would be possible with a cat, but he loves the training sessions and they have really helped to to strengthen our bond. Because Magnus is a house cat, I wanted to have something to stimulate and challenge him, so thought I would give this a try. I am so happy I did. Yes it does seem expensive, but from my point of view, what my cat has gained from this is worth way more. It is very easy to use and instructions are easy to follow. The challenge is finding a treat your cat loves, being really patient and recognising when your cat is losing interest ( stop before that happens). Magnus has 2- 3 training sessions per day, at 3-5 minutes each.

El instructivo es breve y básico, no hay siquiera tips para iniciar entrenamiento. No me gustó.

I recently purchased the clicker training kit on Amazon, and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it came with a complimentary one-month access to Cat School, an online training platform. This unexpected bonus has truly enriched my training experience. The clicker training kit itself is fantastic, and it’s been a game-changer for my 6-month-old cat, Onion. I’ve used it to teach Onion tricks like sitting and following my finger. But what made this deal even better was the free access to Cat School. With their step-by-step training guides and expert support from Julie, the cat trainer behind the platform, Onion has made incredible progress. In summary, I can’t recommend this clicker training kit enough, especially with the added value of the one-month access to Cat School. It’s an excellent package for any cat owner looking to enhance their training efforts. I’ve already seen remarkable improvements in Onion’s training, and I’m thrilled to continue the journey. A well-deserved 5/5 stars!
